Wow, this game looks like it might be insanely fun.

I like some of the artwork on the bad guys. Reminds me of Ninja Gaiden from the NES for some reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed though for polishing.

Well, Ganon(dorf) sure isnt that bright :lol, so that rules him out. The figure also seems taller than Link, although you cant really tell. They did say they wanted to top OOT and you dont really do that by doing the same thing over again. It has to be bigger and better

The Oracle games kind of use parallel worlds.

Majora's Mask's Termina is defined as being a dimension parallel to Hyrule

Ocarina of Time had the past/future time travel thing

ALttP had Dark World/ Light World.

It's not like it would be a first to have separate realms or something in Zelda if they put it in this one.

I think the caption on the full scan describes him as a boss of some kind. The battle inolves you/link battling him and several smaller enemies also on horseback.

Matt is just speculating. Aunoma said that Link would have some type of "connection" with animals. He must just be able to specially communicate with them or get them to do special tasks. If he can transform into animals and do special tasks or puzzles or what not at night, Im sure it will improve the gameplay, if not add a twist onto the regular dungeon exploring.

As for the day and night thing, that's so old it's not even funny. A night and day system is a "basic" in today's games. Having a different environment at night than day was done in 1998. It's 2005. It doesnt make any game special in today's world.

To be traditional with the Zelda franchise, there has to be a twist on the actual "world" itself, such as having 2 completely different worlds, changing one world into another, etc. This is always done by some special feature in a Zelda game: Masks, caps, Master Sword, etc.

Cause when I play a Zelda game, I want to play as Link, not some wolf. Majora's Mask was already weird enough.

I could handle the horse changing shape...into the Boar...or maybe even a Griffon...flight could be cool.

Prime 2's light and dark world was poorly implemented and unintressing, that's all. The Dark world is like the dullest world I ever seen.
