can you fix this too? /s
To be fair, this is how most people remembered/seen Rydia.

I'm sure the "Censorship!" brigade will come out in full force like everytime they need to defend the latest tittyfest. Surely.
Its stupid and it shouldnt happen to any gender, FF is known for stupid costume designs, nothing wrong with showing skin (since we dont need practicality to the series, its done fine without it for about 20+ years)

Bravely Default
Have you even read through the thread? There are loads of people who liked the original.I, for one, am shocked at the absence, shocked
??? No, that edit looks fine outside of it being a video game rendered model.
Funny how this only happens when it is a guy wearing skimpy clothes.
Same.Eh, I'm looking at it from a fashion or aesthetic perspective, could care less about her breasts.
I'm wondering when the goobergators are gonna outrage over this
I'm thinking never
Now i'm going to be presumptuous(please please correct me if i'm wrong) but wasn't there a study that more females game on mobile devices(just for that study ) so this could be a game meant to target those core gamers(and thus try to appeal to females or anyone who finds that design sexy)? I wont argue anything about Bravely default since "age of characters" is something i dont know (i've seen random numbers from 13 to 17 ) so I cant say anything, except edna(i think thats the main female) has wayyyy too many belts. And for a statement about beating fire with fire being bad or not a good way... at the least it makes the "Men are sexualized as much as women" excuse or counter-arguement a good workout lol.Depends. I guess I'm not as black and white with it. I think Cindy looks ridiculous because of its blatant sex appeal, but men are definitely sexualized different and the straps and revealing clothes on Mobius Man just look...bizarre. I definitely find it 'refreshing' that it IS a man being sexualized, but 'fighting fire with fire' isn't really a good strategy in most situations...
More than though, I'm curious WHY he's designed the way he's designed. Truly this is a sort of ground-breaking moment for FF-males to be the "show offs" (for lack of better words).
I remember these caused some uproar. Frankly, on a fashion perspective, I thought the edits were 1,000x more tasteful.
Feedback Fantasy: Mobile Edition.
Should have just offered the option for the original instead of outright replacing it. SE has become too reactive to fan whining on the internet lately.
Thank you straight guys.

It seems like they either pre-empt appealing to a particular demographic and if people complain they react ro a particular demographic. Would be cool to just see a true artistic vision, but I suppose that's a lot to ask for when talking about a mainstream franchise.Feedback Fantasy: Mobile Edition.

If onlyFix Cid in FFXV.

The design wasn't sexy, it was just ugly.Word. It's okay for female characters be half-naked, but OH NO THAT GUY IS SHOWING SOME RIBS.
It was one job (Onion Swordsman). They need to chill out with getting nervous just because not everything they make gets the reception they were hoping for. At some point you've just got to have confidence in what you designed. They need to understand that it's not possible to make everyone happy.
I wonder if it will even work out for them. They seem scared to death after what happened with Final Fantasy XIII.
Ridiculous.
The over-sexualization of women in the video game spectrum seems widely accepted; however, when one sees male skin, it is automatically deemed too sexy for that audience and needs to be scaled back as a result to appease a few minor vocals.
I'm not liking Square Enix's stance. You can't make everyone happy.
Link doesn't work.Maybe not from that angle, but...

The designs of the main characters in FFXV aren't ridiculous so much as they're just boring and homogenous.Pretty weird they are getting so scared of fan backlash. I don't really care about either outfits to be honest. I'm at the point where I think I'm getting too old for final fantasy. The main characters design are so ridiculous in 15 that it's completely turn me off from the game. Do people really think that's cool design? The mobius guy is also pretty terrible, maybe someone should tell them androgynous characters aren't so hip anymore.
Did you see Bravely Default's changes? They do make changes even to female characters, if there is enough uproar about it.
Link doesn't work.
That was done only for the English localization though.
Banned site, my bad.
So hopefully complaining about Cindy in XV will do the same thing? Because that outfit is just as dumb.
Don't think it'll happen since Cidney isn't a main character. So hopefully complaining about Cindy in XV will do the same thing? Because that outfit is just as dumb.
Plenty of people who like dudes thought it was ugly, I think it was hideous.
It's just daisy dukes...
I can see people wanting her to less sexed up, but real talk, I see women wearing that during the summer all the time.
You're trying to make sense of something in a series that has rarely ever made sense.she's, like, a car mechanic though. why she even bothering with the googles at that point.
Don't worry, I'm sure they'll come soon enough.I'm sure the "Censorship!" brigade will come out in full force like everytime they need to defend the latest tittyfest. Surely.
Still looks like shit. Remove everything above his waist and it's fine.

Well said. SE just needs to avoid the Internet probably.
true, bad character design is a series tradition I suppose.
If they've been doing that in the past, then I don't agree, I'm so happy the FF15 demo is ALLOWING feedback. :/
I'll keepsaying itNow fix Cindy.
Nobody's using the bullshit "oh noez censorship ruining the artist's creative expression!" argument though. They're actually honestly discussing this as a change made by the company (thank God).Have you even read through the thread? There are loads of people who liked the original.
Well speak of the devil.Yeah, I don't get it. Censorship is terrible in any form. Character designs won't stop me from playing a game. If the gameplay looks solid, i'll try it. The main character could have been butt naked wearing a banana hammock, and I'd have still tried it.
