What? Are you suggesting that these would be target renders cuz I highly doubt that. Who cares if is scripted, why do you want some kind of fancy dynamic water in a game that is about fighting on land?
 
Why am I convinced that the following was actually said by an ActivLizzard executive:

"Holy balls of fuck! Those cocksuckers over at EA/DICE have a fucking building FALLING DOWN in their goddamned BF3 trailer! Hey InfinitySledgeRaven or whatever the fuck you're called today, make sure we've got a goddamned building falling down in our trailer too! And you know that music from that Inception movie? Yeah, make sure that shit's in the fucking trailer as well!"
 
Everytime I think of CoD, I always say to myself "eh, another call of duty". Then I see the trailer and I get excited again. Those bastards.

It's the next "big game" that a lot of people and their friends get. It's something that they all look forward to playing together.

The game would not be playable without physics and of course there is nothing to gain from having some fancy water physics when 98% of the game will take place without water in sight.

I'm sure most people here play it for the multiplayer, but there's a lot of folks playing it for the single.

Buildings fall down all the time, man. It's what happens in war. I don't know how much you know about modern warfare but inner city buildings exploding is very common.

Raven did most of the World at War DLC maps, been working on COD for a while now.


Trailer looks good, another action packed ride.
edit: London tube seems a bit odd in the England bit, lines run at different depths and apart, not together.

Remember that what makes this game popular has absolutely nothing to do with anything shown in this trailer. Speaking of which, when do we get to see the multiplayer? Are they bringing spec-ops back?
 
Russian Sovremenys and Kursk subs are relics. IW should have taken the chance to design some alternate history modern Russian ships, like stealth Kirov Cruisers and giant battle carriers.
 
Anyone who complained about MW2 being over the top and stupid had better say the same about MW3. Seriously, this game's campaign looks ridiculously stupid.
 
God damnit, I hate to say it, but that looked fucking awesome. I swore after MW2 that I'd never buy another CoD EVER AGAIN. And then I bought Blops. And now I'll probably buy MW3.
 
Looks enjoyable! Expect the story to be batshit insane but I'm actually looking forward to it, hopefully the campaign is a decent 10 hours what with the extra developers and bigger scale.

Anyone else wish they went back to COD4 style of, not sure how to say it, but realism?

Seems like every iteration is getting more flashy and more "explosion-y". With COD4, you kinda felt like real men could be doing these kinda missions. Sure, there was some Rambo shit, but it felt like it was based in reality.

But now its like "ohh hey, a nuke went off in space...or something"
