Right, two teams on single player. I was thinking of Raven also on the MP side.Strider2K99 said:

I dunno, just didn't get the relevance, like a lot of these avatar/name quoting "jokes". SnipaKilla, MrDeath666, Sharpshooter187 fair enough, but NinjaBoiX? I dunno, ninjas kill people?lethial said:Don't worry, most of the guys who use the term dudebros are manbabies with anime avatars.

I think it's kind of offensive that Activision considers map design small capacity and doesn't bother to credit them (in prior stuff). I wasn't even aware that they worked on the W@W DLC until last week.Strider2K99 said:If (and it's a big if) Raven is involved, it's in a small capacity such as making maps and not actually developing the multiplayer, otherwise Activision would have mentioned them in the PR.

MW3 wins the universe. Was waiting for someone to carry the torch from what Epic started with Gears 2. Horde modes are great. Horde modes that work on multiplayer maps is a win-win for everybody, making it more likely the playerbase will get the new maps, regardless of whether their playstyle is versus or co-op focused.article said:According to the USA Today, co-developers Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games are beefing up the Spec Ops mode with online matchmaking, leaderboards, and a separate progression system from multiplayer. The centerpiece of the renovation, however, is a new Horde-like Survival mode that takes place on the multiplayer maps.

Damn.....that would be sweet as shit if RAVEN was involved and brought in a new updated gore tech they used in the old Soldier of Fortune 2 games they made.

I would so buy this.![]()
SolidSnakex said:It's because Activision puts a ton of money behind CoD's ad campaigns. You'd see more ads this early for games if they had anywhere near CoD's marketing budget.
Tha Robbertster said:Hmmm, But doesn't BF3 has an enourmes budget too? And I thought Halo Reach nearly spent a 100 milion dollars on it's marketing but I only saw a commercial for that, 3 weeks before launch.
But then again, we are talking about CoD. Probably the biggest game of the year for most people so I can understand it.

HOly shit that's awesome news. I enjoy competitive modes a lot but I also freakin LOVE playing zombies in BlackOps with my friends. But they were reluctant on buying the DLC packs because the one zombie map included is not worth the whole price...glad to hear that's gonna change.NullPointer said:MW3 wins the universe. And considering the further development of Spec Ops mode, I've come full circle from my Black Ops angst (weak campaign and co-op) back into the warm embrace of MW love.
Day 1.

Wooooooooa
Pretty much what you see in the trailer. World War 3 is going. If you really want, you can read Kotaku's campaign spoiler report, I'm personally avoiding it like the plague and waiting until the game releases to enjoy it.effingvic said:i thought this was the transformers game tie in at first.
looks good though. any word on what the storyline is for this game? will we see soap return? im more excited about the campaign, not too interested in multi
Yes, it's been added apparently.MercuryLS said:Will they have matchmaking for co-op this time? I really wish they did that for MW2, I beat the co-op with the fellow gaffer and it was a lot of fun...but I wish I would be able to just hop on and get matched up with a random for some co-op action.
Sounds good, and the support options you can unlock sound completely insane.Stantron said:Game Informer: Modern Warfare 3's Survival Mode Spices Up Spec Ops
I really enjoyed Horde mode in Gears. This is basically the same thing. You can play on any map. I could have sworn I read before that it supported co-op and matchmaking, but I can't find that at the moment. The article states that there will be a leveling progression system, probably tied to an unlock system specifically for this mode. The game calls out tasks periodically during a round (kind of like real time contracts from blops). You can spend currency towards gun and killstreak upgrades mid fight.
If MP lag is on par with blops, I might spend more time in this mode.
MW2 had a few recap clips during the intro. I assume there will be something similar in 3.Effect said:I know story isn't the main draw of CoD games but it's still there. Has Activision and/or Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer said if MW3 will have a story recap explaining what happen in MW1 and 2? Did MW2 have something like that explain MW1?
