Mom Attacks Own Kid Over Porkchop.

I kind of can see her anger. Seriously you cook a pot of food and others eat it off and leave you nothing. One Thanksgiving my older sister who dropped by to get something to eat took our whole fucking turkey breasts. No one had eaten but she and her boyfriend were going out so Mom told her take what she wanted and she went into the fucking kitchen and cut off both breasts of the turkey only leaving the the thighs and the rest of the carcass. I was about twenty at the time and still I nearly cried as I had help all morning cooking the fucking thing. This happened about 10 years ago but still it infuriates me every thanksgiving as I still cannot believe family could have been that thoughtless. I think I would have punched her in the face if she came back to the house but she didn't even after we called her and told her bring back our fucking turkey breasts.
 
I don't get it, what does skin color have to do with... er... anything here?

Some black GAFfers think certain crimes are worse if committed by members of their race. It has gotten so frequent that I anticipate "In before 'why is she black'" posts very soon.

Not for me. I just thought the crime fit given my experience. My exact thoughts when clicking the title was "I bet she is black." Normally, I don't think in this matter but it is honestly what I was thinking.

I was talking to my white roommate about this. Apparently when another white person does something embarrassing it doesn't affect him at all-but I think most minorities will facepalm when one of our own lives up to an embarrassing stereotype. I wouldn't call it sad, it's just the way it is.

In the real world we're already paranoid because a lot of people think we're a race of criminals (even though they wouldn't admit it) when shit like this happens it you can feel your whole race being judged.

Nah, because I asked him similar questions that one would get punched in the face for. We understand each-others.....humor? So it was perfectly OK with him to ask me that jokingly. He wouldn't ever ask anyone else that.

Eh not going to get into it but I know exactly what you mean, not from skin color but based on being gay. Let's just say that thread someone posted asking, "How do I get a straight guy to let me suck his dick," was a total embarrassment.

I guess you're fortunate this was a porkchop and not fried chicken though.
 
Maybe people should have to take parenting classes. I mean, a $20 piece of consumer electronics comes with a manual as thick as your thumb but kids come with a birth certificate and that's about it. If kids came with a manual there would be a blurb on that states, "Don't punch your child over a pork chop. It's not worth it."

On the other hand, if this was two siblings then I don't think it would have been newsworthy.

Wow what a thoughtless bitch. I would still be pissed to this day as well. Worst is that you asked and she never brought it back.

Put a white person in a room full of black people and show a video of another white person dancing and see how effected he is by it. I think it's all about who thw minority is in that situation. How can I be embarrassed by my race if most of everyone around me is the same?

I'm not embarrassed about seeing another family's disfunction, knowing the house I was rised from WOULD fight for the same reasons back in the 1980-90 while growing up poor/ on foodstamps
