It does use UE which is heavily scalable, possibly on UE5 now…OK guys, but...
How will this game run on a simple Switch?
it seems like UE4, don't you think? cause they've used UE3 on MK11 ?It does use UE which is heavily scalable, possibly on UE5 now…
The movement is unnatural and lacks any sort of momentum. The individual animations for normals and specials have really weak silhouettes and often lack any impact.I don't see how these animations are bad in any way. The animations themselves are great I'm this and mk11. Are you sure you're not conflating the style of the game with poor animation? Because it's definitely a different style than most Japanese fighters and that probably relates to the way they handle the way moves link together. The animations themselves have a lot of detail though, right?
Possibly, I couldn't tell.it seems like UE4, don't you think? cause they've used UE3 on MK11 ?
the game is beautiful, and people are confused because this game is more conservative, less focused on mystical things, particles and GORE!!!Possibly, I couldn't tell.
Not sure I like the cartoony look it has going, and it's a shame they kept the mid-game bone break moves, otherwise I'm good with it.the game is beautiful, and people are confused because this game is more conservative, less focused on mystical things, particles and GORE!!!
do you agree with me?
Hard to say for sure but it looks more promising on that front than 11 did in its early showings. It looks like a good middle ground between MK9's pornstars and the ugly mess that was 11.Are the sexy women back? Blood and gore on problem, sexy women.
Nope call the police right now.
i hope to see some old skins, more mystical skins you know? I'm totally afraid of buying this game at PRE ORDER, but i'm curious about Van Damme skinNot sure I like the cartoony look it has going, and it's a shame they kept the mid-game bone break moves, otherwise I'm good with it.
All of their preorder characters/skins are eventually either offered for sale, free, or included in the "ultimate" versioni hope to see some old skins, more mystical skins you know? I'm totally afraid of buying this game at PRE ORDER, but i'm curious about Van Damme skin
well, the premium version will be for sale even after the launching? but, I know, without Van Damme Skin? All of their preorder characters/skins are eventually either offered for sale, free, or included in the "ultimate" version
Pretty sure they got a C&D...NetherRealms was rumored to be doing a Classic 1‐3 remaster a while ago..Honestly wish it was more darker and gritty like the original trilogy.
Anyone remember that Remake someone was making.

Ehhh I disagree about the bold part. I personally like the art-style, I think majority of the detail went into particle effects and the stages themselves. The stages are 100% are setting the standard for visual fidelity in a fighting game.Mixed feelings, and im a hardcore lvl max mk franchise fan.
-Too cartonish, models looks toooo simple.
-Gameplay looks good. Air combos, assists, long combos etc.
-Stages looks beautiful.
Particle ? Show me one on Raiden moves or on the victims affected by his lighting moves.Ehhh I disagree about the bold part. idk, everything looking pretty stellar to me.Particle ? Show me one on Raiden moves or on the victims affected by his lighting moves.
Games looks bland. It's even weird to say, because MK was always delivered top tier graphics.
Hot take: MK games had the smoothest animations during the PS2 Trilogy of 3D MK, but it also slowed down the gameplay to the point where they felt like entirely different games.I don't see how these animations are bad in any way. The animations themselves are great I'm this and mk11. Are you sure you're not conflating the style of the game with poor animation? That's some take you have, the animations look sick. It just might not be your cup of tea.Wake me when this company hires some animators.
That jank is right there - plain as day - front and center - same as its always been.
Jesus christ their shit has been trash tier for years.
MK11 is the best looking fighting game there right now but MK1 is on another level. There's no way you put them side by side and not tell which one is the newer. The over all presentation of MK1 is just so superior from what little we could see. This is coming from a guy who got in to games because of Mortal Kombat. I live and breath Kombat.I am completely underwhelmed. Graphically looks like almost zero jump compared to MK11. Others either havent played enough or played MK11 long ago to forget just how good it looks. MK1 doesnt have more detailed faces, nor stages...the gameplay presentation is copy/paste from MK11 from 30fps fatality and cutscene scenes to X-ray. Sure its gonna be new move set and new fatalities and so on but this looks like MK11 + , the jump from MKX to MK11 was a solid leap.
Speaking of retro characters, people forget we already had em in MK11 (very centric to the story) and you had all of their outfits from every MK to date so the only thing new I see is this tag that even Boon didnt explain that well how the character swap works.
For anyone saying MK1 is next gen, yall must of forgot what MK11 in 4k looks like:
