It made me all nostalgic for seeing the music video on MTV. And I think it fits with MK's self depreciating silliness well.

Basically I liked the trailer more than I should have. Really excited for this to come out.

It's not. I've been playing for more than an hour and unlocked an achievement saying halfway done. It's taking ages. You play like 3 fights with each character and then some qte bullshit plus cutscenes after each fight.

He is skipping cutscenes... but I don't think MKX story is really that much longer than the order

I believe they put more focus on the actual game play and the towers than the story this time around.

The story length should be about the same as Injustice and MK9.

MK9 probably felt like it was longer to most because it had a bunch of difficulty spike bottle necks that sucked up a lot of time.

Average time is about 2-3 hours.

Haven't watched it. The cut scenes look like ps3 unreal engine gfx. The lighting is better in the game itself.

People have some seriously rose-tinted glasses about last-gen. I know I did too.

(both are bullshots, so it's an even playing field )

I versed Baraka about an hour ago.

Btw the three variations of the characters add a lot to the game. It's a huge roster all things considered.
