The change isn't instantaneous, but it will come so most have chosen to just accept their fate and adopt a static avatar. There will always be a few who will hold out till the last moment.

It should be flickering as you scroll, but I'm not sure if it's going to look right on different monitor resolutions.

I think you could get straight to the point and have your avatar just be PLEASE NOTICE ME in bright neon letters.

Is there some sort of option I need to enable to see the GAF hosted avatars because the external ones are taking preference from what I can tell.


EDIT: got it working. Had to enable "Show Avatars" under Edit Options in User CP. Don't know why that fixed it (and why external avatars were still showing) but it worked!
