Yeah it probably doesn't work for a lot of people, new monitors probably reduce the flickering, mine is old so it works good.

I see alot of things on GAF that can be posted there. Like that thread about driving annoyances in OT or little bugs in games in Gaming. It is like a replica of a high school lunchroom.
