Most counterproductive post-workout meal you've ever had

milk + oats + pb + whey + banana

Probably close to 800 calories there.

Drink this and you will gain weight.

My biggest struggle is putting on quality weight. I want to bulk but I feel like my body fat isn't low enough. Right now I feel like a fat fuck.

Id just throw it up. I've thrown up so much in the past year trying to get food down. I need to be hungry in order to keep it down, and typically I'm not hungry. And if I am I want to eat a meal, not a small shake.

Actually went to the doctor yesterday and she wants me to see a therapist because she thinks i might have anxiety and body image issues. I don't think she's right at all, but still gonna do it just to see if it helps.

Alcohol is the most counterproductive thing after a workout, it effectively undoes all the benefits. At least excess food can supply nutrients and build muscles

No meal is probably the most counterproductive thing I've done aside from drinking.

Food is better than no food given my eating schedule.

Semi off-topic, but I was wanted to lose weight, but also gain muscle, would eating a bunch of shit after a workout be good or bad?

On one hand it seems like I need a bunch of protein to gain muscle, but that goes against needing to reduce calories to lose weight...

What???

Like - right in the gym?

I can't recall the amount of times I've gone ham after a workout. I've done Popeye's, whole Pizzas, Las Vegas buffets, you name it lol. These meals are usually factored into my diet for the day though so I never feel too guilty at least.

I have been doing intermittent fasting recently (16-8 split), so most days out of the week I'm probably going 2-4 hours with no food post workout. Supplements and coffee make it a little easier to deal with the hunger, but continuing to make good eating decisions in this state takes some serious effort.

Ate LoLo's Chicken and Waffles with Kool-Aid after a 4.2 mile run

Ha, I love LoLo's! In my case it was 60 minutes on the elliptical. You earned that.

I like weightlifting and I like eating shitty food so I just tell people im trying to get big when in reality I cant control my after gym eating habits so I stay partially fat lol

The worst for me is that theres a great pizza place next door to the gym so sometimes I'll be so starved that I'll skip the gym and just eat pizza

I legitly don't see how one person could down 2 whole pizzas even though I guess the mediums are pretty small. I struggle downing one.

Anyway a whole pizza isn't terrible if you're bulking. I do one cheat day every 8-9 days or so and I did a whole large pepperoni from papa johns the other day.

2600cals
100g fat
296g carbs
88g protein

And for reference here's my targets. Throw in maybe a chicken breast or two and some snacks and I've not done terrible for a cheat day outside of fat.
3,387 calories, 339 g protein, 424 g carbs, 29 g fat

I'm on a diet and really close to the perfect body weight, but today I didn't eat, and I went to the gym, so I was hungry. And I was getting high with my friend, so I got even more hungry. So when I was walking home, I ate a chicken burger which is 640 whopping calories and now I feel so sad

Hahaha, I see what you did there

Sometimes I will my way through lunges and squats by thinking about what I'm going to eat when I'm done. It works!

And yeah I got one of those big bags of Caramel M&Ms too. Good stuff.

My worst meal after a workout is usually planned. I'll go Saturday morning, spend 2-2.5 hours, and then go day drinking, including general pub food. Happens once every couple months. It's usually balanced out by another Saturday where I'll go for like 5k calories burned total and then only eat like 2.5k.

I already weigh what I want, though. I never did that kind of thing when I was actively trying to lose weight.

Started cutting around 2 months ago. Burned about 350 calories doing sprints. Felt so dizzy afterwards that I just pigged out when I got home. Ate like 3 servings of this Greek dish pastichio which my parents had made the night before. That shit is calorific as hell, like 1000 calories per serving.

That Greek dish you mention looks like baked ziti, although it seems to include egg.

I'd love some of that right now. I didn't have my morning 5 boiled eggs. :(
