For the people who are hating on Blurred Lines, you guys probably didn't watch the explicit video :D
I did and imho 3 different pairs of breasts couldn't distract from the fact that the song was an utter pile of [vile].

Thank god Robin Thicke is where he deserves to be after that song.

Also anything Iggy related, thank god the world has moved from that fad.

Take Me to Church is bad, but it's not "Let Her Go"-bad. Also, as a Dutchie, I have to give a shout-out to Kensington. Fuck them.

I agree with this choice. Also, if you want people to hate it even more, mention that it is written and performed by a
Canadian

No? Hozier is Irish.

I tried GAF but I couldn't find the video. Let me explain it and see if you folk can get it right:

I think Miley Cyrus' brother was one of the singers
It features guys choking girls
they are screaming at the top of their lungs

Go.

The song you are looking for is Freaxxx by a band called brokeNCYDE. It got no connection to Miley Cyrus though.

This makes me sad. I personally think the song is fantastic but I feel most people hate it because pretty much everyone played the heck out of it. Which isn't fair. NOT FAIR I TELL YOU!

Now,Gangnam Style and "What does the Fox Say" are songs that I hated from hearing too much of but those songs were just stupid.

brokeNCYDE takes it. They're like a Tim and Eric sketch brought to life. Hate is a bit strong for music I don't like though. Sure if I was forced to listen to it, but that hasn't ever really been the case.

Maroon 5 in general. I feel like they have the highest amount of most played songs on our local top 40 stations which is all I hear at work.

Really hate that Rude song. So whiny as others have said.

Sam Smith radio songs - Stay with Me and that other one.

Take me to Church

Nah, nah, honey, I'm good...

I guess just pretty much current top 40. Sorry if my list is mostly recent stuff. I slowly forget the older brain-drillers over time. But today the top 40 station was playing a bunch of popular 90s songs that I also hated back then, so that was a(n) [adjective] refresher.

Edit: I had a girlfriend who would become obsessed with certain songs, and she'd play a song on repeat constantly until she got tired of it. That was fun.

Rude
Honey I'm Good
All About That Bass
Blurred Lines
Centuries

I like Take Me to Church and Blank Space but I don't listen to the radio much so they're not overdone for me.

Burn this thread to the ground. Holy shit, all these bad songs in one place.

I'll add a few monstrosities here:

"Wake me up" by Avicii.
"Coco" by O.T. Genasis.
"#Selfie" by whoeverthefuckitis.
"Truffle Butter" by the shit trio.
"Starship" by HIGHERTHANAMUTHAFUCKA - Humptyhumptyhumptyhump.
"Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh oh oh. Oh my god" by Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh oh oh. Fuck Usher.

Take me to Church is saved by the Morgan James cover. She injects some semblance of emotion into the song.

I'm going to go with Moves Like Jagger. I hated that song the first time I heard it and I hated it 1000x time I heard it. Most of these other pop songs were okay the first couple of times.

I know everyone has different tastes but...

When a song is really popular and you think it sucks, more than likely it's you or your taste that suck.

Having said that. I can't stand Call me maybe.

No, my tastes are superior to the masses :P

I can't stand how a lot of singers don't sing with their natural voice nowadays. And then other people pick it up and try it on shit like The Voice or Xfactor.
Acting all singer songwritery. Makes me want to puke.
No, my tastes are superior to the masses :P
Wouldn't say superiour (yes i would) but if you only listen to top 40 music then you're really depriving yourself from some really above avarage music, yes.

I think there was a recent coldplay song that I heard on the radio, maybe a year ago. I don't remember what it sounded like, but it was bad enough to make me audibly say "what is this shit? it sounds like shit" when I was alone in the car.

Anything that features Will.i.am #talentless and that skrillex and diplo with J.Bieber is probably the worse song i have ever heard ever.

Oh and any KPop shit. So much K-fever

I'll post the chorus and you can guess which song:
Rumor has it, ooh,
Rumor has it, ooh,
Rumor has it, ooh,
Rumor has it, ooh,
Rumor has it, ooh,
Rumor has it, ooh,
Rumor has it, ooh,
Rumor has it, ooh

It's tricky I know, but I bet if you had to listen to it multiple times a day at work like I did you'd know it too.

I thought this was a song from the 70s when I heard it.

Is "you're beatifull" from the goatvoice from the past five years? That song i really couldn't listen to and it was played soooo fucking often.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk

This song just keeps getting played in so many places and if it's on in the background I usually recognize it around the part where he starts repeating, "don't believe me, just watch." I think it's that specific part of the song that makes it annoying.

nvm, found a comment after posting

Toss up between Blurred Lines and Uptown Funk.

That F&F7 paul walker song, my colleague has a fascination over it and has been playing it about 10 times a day at work since it came out. I think it got to a hundred plays before I politely asked him to stop 10 times.

But then he jumps on to something else, it's like have a damned repertoire for fuck sake.
Anything but the same songs over and over.

Transformers is a cinematic masterpiece confirmed?
