Bear in mind the walking dead aren't just all over games like RE, but they're also in D&D and virtually every computer/console RPG of every type. There are more zombies in videogames than Nazis, because while there are a ton of WW2 games, they're almost all action/FPS with a handful of strategy games being set in WW2.
But zombies are in just about every genre and have been for just as long if not longer than WW2 videogames.
