Shelter for the most part is super peaceful

Except when you are getting attacked by birds of prey, fires, creatures you can't see at night, and flash floods.

The juxtaposition the game uses is absolutely terrifying, and that ending...prepare for tears.

I take that back, the game is not peaceful at all!

Xenoblade, night time at Satorl Marsh and Snowy Valak. Also all day at F

. Tagged since some consider the location name to be a spoiler.

Mostly influenced by the music.

Viva Pinata during the moments that ruffians and sours aren't destroying my garden.

Also I get a great sense of tranquility just running through the world of Okami after having restored a cherry blossom tree.

I'm scratching my head Scratches being on this list.
Definitely had some genuinely creepy moments...

It's peaceful in a very warm and cozy book and coffee in hand by fireplace during brisk autumn evening kind of way.

I find Defcon very relaxing strangely enough ;)

Playing a small nation/dynasty in a paradox game is my choice of gaming peace. Trying for a peaceful victory in any 4X game really.

When you're not in combat with the dark shadow enemies, I found Ico to be a fairly peaceful game. The OST helps with that a lot as well.

Prince of Persia [reboot] comes to my mind; gameplay is almost totally stress free as you cannot die and the lush environments and fluid animations are a joy to watch.

It is definitely Kirby Epic Yarn. That game was so fun, charming, and relaxing. The art style create this sense of calm and happiness. The gameplay was fun and easy. Kirby turn into these adorable shapes which adds to the gameplay such as an umbrella or train. Play it people, its great.

Was about to post this.

There's a bit of combat in the game, but it's mostly just exploration and collecting. Such a relaxing game.

Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery. Walking through those woods to Jim Guthrie's music... can't even describe the feeling. Peaceful seems close.

To The Moon is a great choice. Curious to see Scratches on your list. It's a horror game no? I've always wanted to try it but I'm a wuss.

I really liked the opening of Yakuza 3 while you managed the orphanage. Botanicula setting and music are also very mellow. Surprised no one has mentioned Animal Crossing yet.

The civilization series. Till Gandhi goes ape shit and starts stomping my ass... Why is it that hes always that way in every single game hes appeared in D:

Yeah, it's a horror game, but like I said in another post it gives me this really warm, cozy feeling when I play it. Like reading a really great ghost story on Halloween. It's wonderfully immersing in that sense.
