Demon's Souls/Dark Souls - parry & riposte. So satisfying.

When the stars align and you land a beautifully timed great sword attack.
The boot in battletoads, pick your version.

Parry/Reposte in Dark Souls.
Nothing better than slamming their swing away with your shield and then running the enemy through with your sword.
This.Demon's/Dark Souls backstab + parry/riposte.

This. Nothing beats the Bulletstorm slide/grapple/boot combo. Shout-out to Vanquish as well. Oh, and HUNK's knife kick trick in Mercenaries 3D.Bulletstorm
Oh, this too. Ike's Forward Smash is probably the most powerful-feeling normal move of any fighting game, cheese in UMvC3 included.Ike's Forward Smash in Brawl, feels so freaking powerful when you land it.
So a pre-canned animation that you have no control over initiating (really) is what this thread is about? Killzone 3 has no redeeming qualities. This is a thread about Killzone 3.
You're playing it wrong, bra. Plenty of energy if you chase after your target and boot him repeatedly across the arena, and then continue booting him against the wall until he splatters for the "grafitti" bonus. Of course, you can always accelerate the air-borne body by switching to a heavy projectile, since only the target goes into slow-mo, and everything else is still in real-time (a brilliant mechanic, I must say).I'm actually not a big fan of Bulletstorm's boot. The fact that it ALWAYS slow-motions afterwards really sucks all the energy out of it.
And with that, Yakuza 4 is now off my backlog.
I found the sledgehammer in Red Faction Guerrilla to be very satisfying.

Best combo? Leash someone, strap him with remote grenades, kick him back into his buddies and hit the detonator. Or better yet, strap someone with a bomb, slide into him to knock him back, leash him in mid-air, use the thumper to bounce him a half-mile off the ground, then steer a remote-controlled sniper bullet into him as he falls, exploding his head, and then detonating the bomb to explode his corpse. MEATY RAIN.
Elbow Drop in Prototype.
I channeled the spirit of the Macho Man constantly and kept trying to drop this move from the highest places imaginable. If I managed to bullseye military or people with it I would get up and give the double "number 1!" fingers in the air and take a victory walk cuttin' promos around the room.
