Hugo in USF4 makes all the swole characters already in that game look small. His arm alone is just as big as 80% of the cast. He also covers the life bars on the screen because he is like 8' tall. In SF3 he wasn't nearly as big on screen compared to other characters as he is now, I don't know why they decided to do that.

You're right. Hugo is pretty monstrously large.

Yeah for a developer he is rather large and not on the obese side of the spectrum. Most developers and programmers I know and see don't have/take the time to keep up with lifting.

There's a video of the history of ready at dawn that shows pictures of him back in 2004 or so as a skinny normal looking guy before he jumped on the bike... Its a pretty interesting watch if you haven't seen it already.

Ralf and Clark are definitely some of the most swole. (Especially compared to previous incarnations) Goro is buff but he's tall and spread out more whereas Ralf and Clark are short and extremely buff and the muscle mass is distributed across a smaller area.

Of the characters with realistic world proportions overall, Chris Redfield is the most ripped.

im totally opposed to the swole-ification of fighting game characters... some sf4 models look straight up silly. totally into SF chars having abnormally large hands and feet though. ralf and clark look super dumb in XIII. Sol Badguy's proportions are absurd in the new GG. its a really weird trend.

The After Years version of FFIV's Golbez would qualify. I especially like the contrast with the perfectly coiffed white hair; and the Amano-esque jewellery also helps to accentuate the design as a whole.

I also rather like the design of Thor from the SMT series. Still stylised, but the muscle tone isn't too over-the-top, and the thighs are focused on more than the biceps.
