I find really weird, the disconnect between the art and sprite.
Like, Leona looks like a hardened fighter in her art but her XIII sprite makes her look like a moeblob.
A trend I wholeheartedly endorse.
While we're doing the whole furry thing, Jiro's Shadow guardian in Blue Dragon might fit this.
I liked Marumaro's a lot more. The idea of chubby li'l Marumaro wielding this ultra-swole tiger was just awesome.

Chris Redfield is the one true Bara character to rule us all. Best redesign of a character, ever. Took a bland, everyman-esque hero and made him into an iconic musclegod. Oh, and propelled the Resident Evil series to it's best selling entry of all time.

Tekken's Jinpachi Mishima is super swole for being over 100 and dead normally.
He's only out-swoled by Craig Marduk, though to be fair, Craig Marduk is larger than Kuma, a full grown grizzly bear standing on it's haunches. He's even bigger than the Jack androids who are designed to be swole.
His thumb is probably bigger than your dick.
Also, Huang Gai (aka, "Huang Thighs") as of the recent Dynasty Warriors games is very swole. And also perpetually old.
And Meng Huo went from tubby to super-heroically swole in the matter of one and a half games.
