Don't ask..I just love it for some reason.

Vanilla Sky.

40% on Rottentomatoes. It's not even out on Blu-Ray! It is one of my favorites though. The soundtrack is awesome.

The last one is a silly movie called the Ice Pirates. I am sure nobody will know this movie, but I like this one very much. And no I don't think it's Police Academy movie in space. Somehow I like it, it is silly, it is dirty and somewhat strange. But according to other people it's trash.

Do you also have movies in your favorite movies list only you seem to like? Do you like movies like Transformers or something similar?

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in my circle of friends that has seen Ice Pirates. It's one of the first movies I can remember seeing in the theater. My mom wasn't prepared for the content apparently and covered my eyes more than a few times in the theater.

I own it on DVD.

TMNT, the CG sequel/update to the Ninja Turtles. I love everything about this movie. I thought the plot was nicely thought out, though it is not nearly as important as the relationship between Raphael and Leonardo. Michelangelo and Donatello did get the shaft though, but Raph was always my favorite anyway.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

It was hilarious, and it plays the whole thing completely serious. It's one of the most ridiculous movies I've seen, and it just keeps getting more and more ridiculous as it goes, and it never breaks from its deadpan delivery. Not even so much as a nod or a wink.
I forgot about this! It was pretty enjoyable too. If anything, I thought it could have actually been awesome if they had trimmed a little of the serious plot stuff (conversations between characters) to make a shorter, more focused movie. I also really liked the reading of the Abraham Lincoln quotes, speeches, etc.

The whole (weapon)
axe + shotgun thing was awesome
, especially with the slow motion moments.

I'm actually considering the terrible idea of seeing Hansel and Gretal: Witch Hunters, hoping for something in the same vein. But Dredd 3D is getting very good ratings so I might just go with that instead, rather than a guaranteed bomb. :P

Super Mario Bros. is a genuinely entertaining (if dumb) movie that I could watch whenever.

Spider-Man 3 isn't as good as the first two but is no where near the abomination most people seem to think it is.

And Jurassic Park III is better than The Lost World. Not that that's a terribly hard goal to beat for most people though.

For some reason everyone hates this movie. I think it was just darker than everyone expected, but it has some great jokes. Jim Carrey also has a monologue where he talks about the future of TV and he very accurately describes the coming internet. One line he says, "You could play Mortal Kombat with someone in Vietnam!" This eventually became a reality with Mortal Kombat III on PS3.

I just want to make sure you know you're not alone because Cable Guy is great

I love Funny Games but most seem to dislike it

Most of these have already been mentioned, but:

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
The Star Wars prequels (although Jar Jar sucks, and so does Hayden Christensen's acting)
Green Lantern

Popular punching bags (well, I dunno about Prince of Persia, but it certainly didn't set the world on fire), but I genuinely got good entertainment out of them.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Love that film. Shallow story but I love the style and the general pacing. It's my favorite popcorn flick.

It's generally poorly regarded by seemingly everyone else, though.
My Dad adores that film, actually. Always watches it when he's feeling ill. Never bothered to sit down and watch it myself.

Not Another Teen Movie - Love this one, it's actually a decent spoof comedy amidst the terrible offerings of other contemporary spoof comedies.

Alien 3 - I just outright don't get the hate. I enjoyed it.

Suckerpunch - I felt like there was a deeper message under the shallow exterior. I had to quit arguing over this with many people, so now I just quietly enjoy it and let the haters hate.

I saw someone post Garden State? Really? Is that movie disliked that much? It's a great movie and absolutely hands down one of the best Motion Picture Soundtracks ever.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who enjoyed this movie. I rented it purposefully to piss off the people I was watching it with. To my surprise, and everyone else's chagrin, I was laughing my ass off. Brendan Frasier just looks so fucking dumb in this movie and it cracks me up. He's out of shape, and he must be on some painkillers or something cause he just looks wacked out of his mind.

The actual movie is pretty stupid. But it's worth it for the Brendan Frasier fever dream.

I haven't seen it since my early teens, but I remember really liking Ice Pirates. Don't know if I still would if I watched it now, but I'd rather just leave it as a pleasant memory anyway.

It goes without saying that almost none of my friends have has even seen it....

I have this poster framed and hanging on my living room wall.

Sucker Punch.

Most of the criticisms levelled at it were bone-headed and demonstrably wrong through simply PAYING ATTENTION to things.

Not saying it was a masterpiece, but it was a worthy attempt at trying something a little bit different. And its a film I can pretty much guarantee will be "rediscovered" and redeemed at some point in the future.

Moulin Rouge. I like this movie even though most of the people I know absolutely despise it. Well, they can all just go to hell. Moulin Rouge is awesome. I've never seen anything like it.

The Phantom Menace is the best of the 6 movies by far. Like a million miles far. It's not even close. It has the B movie feel of the rest but with a much better sense of budget and art direction. The story is tight, the sets amazing, the characters, the choreography, the soundtrack, the setup for the epic story. And of course Liam Neeson. It's just a really, really good movie.

I fucking LOVE Sky Captain in a completely non-ironic way.

How about Who Am I by Jackie Chan. People who like Jackie have probably seen the rooftop fight, but I also love the rest of the movie. It is a dumb low budget action movie that I enjoy from top to bottom. It is easily the dumbest Chan movie that is actually worth watching.

Also, I really enjoyed Prince of Persia. So there.

The Saw septology(?). Pure popcorn bliss.

I particularly like the 5th one, the one with Julie Benz in it, which seems to be one of the most disliked entries. I think they're all fairly entertaining, except 3D which is utter shit, and the 2nd one isn't on par with the others either.
