That would be The Animatrix.
I can totally see that. Animatrix just needed a questionable soundtrack.
That would be The Animatrix.
Actually that sounds quite interesting =/

My friends and I followed the Repo Road Show along the east coast. Since the movie couldn't get a decent theater showing the director and some of the actors took it to small theaters across the country. I've been to numerous shadow casts and have the autographs of almost all the major actors in the film. Great movie.
Another one for me is:

I don't know what it is about this movie but I really enjoy it. I like the anachronistic touches and the actors/characters are really likable. It's cheesy, but it has a lot of heart.
First to the people who said Conversations with Other Women and Hudson Hawk, both are very good movies. Quite different but both very good. Conversations with Other Women is a legitimately strong drama and if you like movies like Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, it's worth watching.
Hudson Hawk would be a success today if it were marketed as the cheesy throwback action movie that it is. There is nothing serious about that movie, but if you go in knowing that its stupid fun then its fantastic.
Now for my entry. I love the movie Monster Squad, and I am the only person that I know that has ever heard of it. I saw it as a kid and am actually watching it again now. I describe the movie as The Goonies with Universal Monsters. It is a late 80s movie about kids who are really into monsters. For reasons that are still kind of hazy, Dracula comes to their town to open a portal and let evil into the world. He brings along the Wolfman, Creature From the Black Lagoon, the Mummy and Frankenstein who is good and on the kids side. There is a lot of smoking and swearing that would never make it into a film about 12-year-olds today. The movie has a very tongue in cheek vibe and mixes action and comedy well, kind of like The Goonies. If you know this movie, please tell me I'm not crazy for saying how good it is.

I haven't met a person in my life that likes Joe vs the volcano. I guess I caught it when I was very little.
I am pretty sure "Wolfmans got nards?" is a fairly well known pop culture reference. Now for my entry. I love the movie Monster Squad, and I am the only person that I know that has ever heard of it. You got to see some of Salma Hayek's butt.[/QUOTE]
at the beginning of the film, smith falls down into a tub of water (something like that), and there you can see it... his pines. strangely enough, i remember seeing that, but i can't remember seeing hayek's butt.

Man this thread is weird. Some people are posting things that shouldn't even be mentioned. Transformers? The Black Hole? A lot of people are posting cult classics.
One other movie nobody mentioned. What about this one.

33% at rotten tomatoes, also box office bomb. But still, I think it was great Sci Fi movie.
One of my top ten favorite movies. May you live to be a thousand years years old sir.

My wife wants me to watch this. We found the entire thing on YouTube too.
And Shallow Hal.

Thank you, I forgot about this. I thought this was pretty funny and enjoyable as well.

never see it on tv, never seen anyone talk about it
except one time here in gaf
I am a huge movie fan and I've watched lots of movies. And as everybody I have my favorite movies. Sometimes, when I am talking about movies with other people, we usually start to argue about three of my favorite movies, only I seem to like.
The first one is the 13th warrior with Antonio Banderas. I like this movie. I think it is well done and the story is good, the characters are interesting and the setting is not as overdone as other ideas in recent movie history. I liked it way more than movies like Robin Hood or similar movies. But it's strange everybody else thinks it was a bad or at best mediocre movie.
The second one is Alien 3. Everybody thinks it was the worst Alien movie. But I think it was a very interesting movie and because there was only one Alien no marines and no weapons it was way more scary then the second one. I liked the settings, the characters and the story. The ending was also very bold in my opinion.
The last one is a silly movie called the Ice Pirates. I am sure nobody will know this movie, but I like this one very much. And no I don't think it's Police Academy movie in space. Somehow I like it, it is silly, it is dirty and somewhat strange. But according to other people it's trash.
Do you also have movies in your favorite movies list only you seem to like? Do you like movies like Transformers or something similar?

I love me Best of the Best but 3 was awful. 4 is so much better.
But this, this is a great movie.
