Only critics liked it, and maybe Expendable here, but no one else.
THE film for the voyeuristic, desensitised generation. Chilling and provocative. It's where Ezra Miller got big. If you like Videodrome, you should check it out.

For my money, this is actually Richard Kelly's second best film - behind Donnie Darko, of course. It's unrestrained nonsense which sort of makes sense - just a little bit - if you think very hard about it. It's zany and eccentric and hilarious. And it has one of my favourite movie quotes of all-time in it: "I'm a pimp, and pimps don't commit suicide."
You can put me in the increasingly redundant "I'm the only person who likes Alien 3" club as well. We should get jackets.

I hate that it did the Donnie Darko reveal with the eye shot thing. I defended this for a while, but can recognise the characters are lacking, the mediocre acting. Justin Timberlake music video is the best thing. It has some cool moments like the floating ice cream truck + bazooka. But I wouldn't want to watch it again.

Does "Y Tu Mama Tambien" count? It's considered a great movie isn't it? So there's many people bound to like it. I know so many people who love that movie.
It depresses me that The Fountain gets hate.

Dude, this. I watched this movie countless times with my friends, along with the first Blade. I knew Blade was fun trash but I always thought 13th Warrior was regarded as a good movie. I didn't have internet at the time and assumed that everyone liked it. What's not to like?
You are not alone. I'm not the biggest fan of tiny affleck but the movie was amazing.
I think I'm more drawn to the cinematography. I became aware of who Roger Deakins is. The technique of bleach bypass at the start and the scenes with the Deakinizer lenses were awesome! I even made a pilgrimage to see the Deakinzers when I was in LA but the store was closed.
Regardless, the film should have gotten more attention, Oscars should have been shovelled on top of it.

I'm glad my friends are all weirdos, because I don't know if I've ever enjoyed a film that no one else I know liked. We go to any last vestige we can find of old hole in the wall video stores and purposely pick the worst dog shit imaginable. I couldn't even tell you the names of half the obscure crap I've seen.
Probably the closest to fulfilling the topic I can think of is (NSFW) Gone with the Pope (NSFW), mostly because I just haven't met that many people who've seen it. However, I have one friend who also really likes it, so even that doesn't quite fit the criteria.

The best I could find.
Southland Tales is terrible and amazing. It's just so weird, and no matter how many times I watch it none of it makes sense. It gets much better on repeat viewings, and generally an audio/visual treat due to the soundtrack. I thought Donnie Darko was shit though.

As a Postal game fan, I'd say totally did the game series justice. (The games are a lot of fun, but not very good. Just like this movie.)
