starring Owen Wilson
An incredibly charming, witty, gorgeous movie. I'd never heard of the movie when I first watched it and didn't even know it was Woody Allen (definitely his best movie in a long time), but it's one of my favorite movies of the past few years.
I really like Midnight in Paris, but it took me 3 tries to finish it. Not sure if it's just me.
Animal HouseI'm tired of showing people my bluray collection and them not really wanting to watch anything. I mostly have superhero movies, all of David Finchers movies, most Puxar movies, all 8 Harry potters.
I think I need more comedies, and more lights hearted flicks. Flicks that are easy to convince someone to watch.
Any recommends!
Bluray only homies
It's not just you. People are posting a bunch of hard to sit through movies that, while enjoyable, aren't easy to sit through.
Aside from Shaun of the Dead I've seen only films that don't fit your criteria in this thread.
Go with something like Dances with Wolves.
Stuff like Goodfellas and Hot Fuzz are considered boring by people I've shown movies to who aren't that interested in movies.
Heh? You posted Dances With Wolves. That's 3+ hours, bruh. Lots of suggestions in here are some of the most common answers you'll get to "easily watchable."

It's one that you can easily get into with its simple themes and grand story.
Stuff like Goodfellas seems like it has long running inside jokes. Most of the humor is lost. The Fifth Element? I wouldn't recommend that to anyone who isn't into Sci-Fi.
Length doesn't really matter.
This guy knows what he's talking aboutMarx Brothers comedies
Hahaha first thing I thought of. "Funny how?"Goodfellas.

The amount of times I've watched The Mummy on tv.......
Undercover Brother
Salo, Martyrs, The Men Behind the Sun.
The Big Lebowski
2001 A Space Odyssey.
Looking at comedies I always seem to have these movies on.
Animal House
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I Love You, Man
Dude, Where's My Car (very stupid but my friends and I still love it)
Pretty much any of the good Will Ferrell comedies (Old School, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Stepbrothers)
Otherwise I'd definitely say movies like Avengers, The Dark Knight trilogy, Stars Wars (original trilogy), any good James Bond movie, and the Harry Potter series are great.
Ghostbusters!
