<3 Frank Langella

He-man and Skeletor, worst breakup of all time.

I love this film. It is stupid but it is awesome.

Once I realized it was a dumb action comedy, I fell in love. I remember being crushed seeing it in theaters though.

This movie is as good as the first. Guns, aliens, and Gary Busey! RT score - 25%

Better than the first! Love that film.

Already been said, but Click and The Longest Yard.

I was getting ready to post Watchmen, but didn't realize the reviews were so positive (65% on Rotten Tomatoes).

People didn't like it? That movie is amazing. My neighbor asked me if I wanted to watch that, I hadn't heard of it and didn't want to, but he said it was great, so he went to his house, grabbed the tape and forced me to watch it. As soon as we had rewound it we watched it again. And then we watched it again. When he went home, I asked him if I could borrow it, and I watched it again that night. I kept that tape for about a week, and watched it every day.

If you told me no one had seen it I'd believe you, but saying no one liked it is madness.

GAF, if you haven't seen The Pest, go watch it now. RIGHT NOW!

I'll wait.

The counselor, such an underrated film. I understand the first half is really slow but it comes back so strong in the second, one of the best movies of 2013.

I see some choices in here that I liked, like Predator 2 and Eyes Wide Shut, so I'll list one not mentioned yet: Alien 3 - specifically, the Assembly Cut.

It's basically a rehash of the first movie with a bunch of bald, lookalike prisoners instead of specific crew members. The few characters who get some kind of definition (Ripley, Clemens, Dillon), are all fascinating in their own right, and are very well portrayed.

The movie is dark and atmospheric, augmented by Elliot Goldenthal's superb score (my favorite out of all four movies). Despite its flaws, problems, and incredibly troubled production, I still derive a lot of enjoyment from this film, and I can easily recommend giving the Assembly Cut a shot.

The Island

Such an underrated film. Michael Bay was still getting shit for Pearl Harbor and critics took it out on this. The writing by Orci & Kurtzmann is super fast paced and very entertaining.

~50% on RT and Metacritic from actual critics. It pleases me to see that the audience reviews are generally MUCH higher. It is one of my Top 3 movies, honestly. I love the acting, the dialogue, the cinematography, the music.... Just fantastic.

most of the movies in this thread are not even remotely bad. Mostly just old.

Except for MacGruber. Wasn't my thing, sorry.

And I do not understand the hate at Alien 3. It gave gamers the fucking wall climb, which is central to the whole AvP... sigh

one of the best i've ever seen.....
Is this real? That movie is a friggin classic in my eyes. No way this can have bad reception.

@topic: Anaconda. Watched that in cinema in Zagreb back in the days. Didn't understand a word (english only with subtitles, I was like 12) but loved it. Only later found out on the internet that its apparently a shitty movie.

Jon Voights best performance. >:-)

Predator 2 better than Predator?

I love P2 but come on man lols.

As for my pick it would be Event Horizont, I really like it and all its characters in it.

"mama bear, open the door"

God damn.

8% on Rotten Tomatoes. I was never even into skating, but I love this movie. The soundtrack is especially good.

Almost forgot about both Mortal Kombat movies and the first Street Fighter one. I also enjoyed Scream 4, The Longest Yard remake(original is still the best though), and Cowboys and Aliens.

One of my guilty pleasures, with a whopping 46% on RT. I think the film has a cool style.

This , Tilda Swinton was great in the movie the guy that played
Satan/Lucifer
was also fun.

This movie is trainwreck , no likable characters and only emotional destruction. But still, the acting is great and if give up on empathizing with the characters you might appreciate it as disaster movie starring Nicole Kidman as the volcano.I think that it would make a great theater play.

Now that I think about it, there's a lot I can name. But man, it really makes sense now why I watch what I want to not caring about RT scores. You'd be surprised by how many low scoring movies(or even games and music for that matter) that you'd enjoy or even love.

Not Another Teen Movie
It is so corny and absurd that I could not help laughing my ass off the entire movie. My friends and I quoted that movie endlessly back when it came out

"BAM! WHAM! What the fuck just happened!?"

"Looks like you've got a thing for butt-ugly girls, Mr. I've Got A Thing For Butt-Ugly Girls."

'Brothers Bloom' is the only one that comes to mind.

Thought it was rather entertaining. Rachel Weisz and Marik Ruffalo were particularly delightful. Didn't find the ending too corny or tongue-in-cheek, either.

The Happening - I enjoy this movie, so, so much. It's so cheesy and stupid. But it's also hilarious. A great film for the whole family to enjoy.

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist - I'm still waiting for the sequel.

Kung Pow is at it's best when it sticks to the redubbed scenes, that stuff is straight up hilarious. Pretty much all of the new material they added is junk though.

My picks:

Iron Man 2. There's a lot of nonsense in this movie, but there's also a goofy charm to it. RDJ's performance is as good as ever, Sam Rockwell's Justin Hammer is a lovable loser, and Mickey Rourke's cornball accent is oh so quotable. Plus that fight scene near the end with the drones? Love it. Definitely the weakest of the 3, but I have a certain appreciation for it.

Ang Lee's Hulk gets far more hate than it deserves and shits on MCU's Incredible Hulk from a great height. Not that that's very hard to do.
