I only like the steelers ironically

My god. It all makes sense now.Narag said:Aren't harson and deathbyvolcano both steelers fans? Where's bionic to give you guidance?

There's still a generation of men out there that don't have vaginas!

oh god, i am a hipster. : (
captmcblack said:Who would've been a better Scott Pilgrim?
JGL is too old.
Shia Laboeuf is too douchetastic.
This would've probably had to be a new casting, and SP is a pretty small/cult-y media property.
I can't think of who might fit...
Huh... you actually have a point.Joe Shlabotnik said:In an alternate universe, might not have been a bad idea for Johnny Simmons and Michael Cera to switch parts.
Narag said:I still laugh when I remember him missing the end of a steelers game to go to a listening party. Nothing personal against him but I just found it amusing.
jakncoke said:what the hell is a listening party?
Are you referring to death or bionic?harSon said:There are fans and then there are 'fans', he's in the latter category.
Offtopic: have you seen Medicine for Melancholy?harSon said:I don't think it's the fact that minorities are for the part absent from these films in itself, simply that these types of films aren't really representative of the culture and environment that I personally live in. In a lot of cases, they simply don't speak to me if that makes any sense.
Having said that, I really liked Scott Pilgrim, a lot more than The Expendables I might add. (500) Days of Summer is pretentious scat though.

BenjaminBirdie said:'Kick-Ass' was really not at all awesome. Certainly not as awesome as the legitimately visionary motion picture 'Scott Pilgrim vs. The World'.
I think they are afraid of being labeled a hipsterPhoncipleBone said:Being hipster does not mean it was bad. The movie was hipster, but that doesn't stop it from being good. Perhaps people are afraid of liking something with that label. In the end it doesn't matter if it is labeled that, it didn't detract from people's enjoyment of it,

Flying_Phoenix said:"Hipsters are a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, intelligence, and witty banter."
Exactly what I said before, what does that even mean? With an exception of the indie-rock listing, it's so broad it can fit to almost anybody in their 20's.
Flying_Phoenix said:I love it when people do that "let me Google that for you" shit. It's like people don't understand the meaning of "insight".

15/624ths.

Tsh. I don't know any actual hipsters. Back where I come from we call people who either act like they are the shit or know more then everyone in an attempt to be away from "conformity" assholes, smug, or idiots.Flying_Phoenix said:Okay let me explain to you what I was looking for with my question. The last sentence post #15 posted, but with more detail in their words and experiences, (in short through a persons own mouth, not something ripped off of Wikipedia).

Emile Hirsch (AKA Speed Racer) would be perfect I think. Then again, I haven't seen the movie or read the comic. But yeah... Micheal Cera doesn't seem to fit the character simply because he has a strange doughy yet skinny chinless body/face that makes any serious fight scene seem comedic (and not in a good way, like in a "watching your confused grandmother try to reenact fight scenes from the matrix" kind of way).. Yeah.captmcblack said:Who would've been a better Scott Pilgrim?
