Murder on the Orient Express Trailer #1

Ha, strange choice of song at the end.
I'm all in for a new Orient Express but Brannagh's accent was really strange, I didn't recognize his voice at all at first.

Looks interesting. I might see it.

And no wonder there was a murder, the guards were playing the Switch!
Ok,
I'll show myself out now..

Title sounds like a Wes Anderson flick.

Looks pretty dope, love whodunnits. Hope it's as self aware as it seems.

Oh, it's a real movie. Got some watching to do.

Modern day Clue eh? Music used at the end of the trailer was jarring.

Very jarring.

I wonder if they'll just use the killer from the book or if they'll do something different.

I figured that something like Murder on the Orient Express *really* doesn't need to be redone, but with a cast like this...color me interested.

Edit: even with spoilers about the original it's probably unnecessary speculation at this point.

Derek Jacobi and Kenneth Branagh? Looks like Hamlet and Claudius together at last!

And if Branagh is directing, I'm definitely interested.

Lol that trash music at the end

Which intern's idea was that. Srsly.

Still GOAT

Was watching it all the time.

Never read the book, but I'm really interested now. That was a cool way to introduce the suspects. Does Johnny Depp not count among them, because he has "I'll kill you" written all over his face.

What were they thinking with that song choice at the end? Yuck

Nothing works about this for me. Worst of all is the casting and music.

Oh and the killer is
everyone
.

Trailer thought process:

Hmm, looking ok... little overbearing... Derek Jacobi, awesome...

OK maybe I will watch thiHOLY SHIT MUSTACHE!!

Also: are there actually people who don't know who the killer is in the novel? It's one of the most famous mysteries ever written.

Sidney Lumet's version is awesome. This trailer ... IDK, I'm too invested in Lumet's movie to be fair to it. The mustache is good.

Interesting to see what they add to the story. The Suchet one added a stoning setup scene and really played up his Catholicism.

WOW THAT MUSTACHE.

I really do love the idea of 85% taking place on that train.

I do love me some Kenneth Branagh though.

That song choice is.. Bad at the end.
