Music in videogames you can relax/chill to

I have, but I'd be banned for giving a link.
Ahhh, yes, that's true. Well, 'tis a shame.

In other news, the FFIX Piano Collections have completely rocked my face. Every single theme redone in piano is amazing.

the 10,000 bullets theme I posted in the OP is available on the OST 'Moonlit Shadow' which was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda and Miki Hagashino. It's a bunch of big band jazz and it is sooo chill.

Why is it that the two Baten Kaitos games have Sakuraba's best work ever?? I wish he could deliver this good in other games too

This. Why is it so much better than his other works? The music does remind me of Mitsudas

Okay, this one is probably a little bit to fast compared to most songs in this thread, but it's still kinda relaxing.

Gran Turismo PSP
London Electricity - Just One Second (Apex remix)

Even though you guys posted many, many great songs in this thread, something is still missing. Something great, from Uematsu. Not a Final Fantasy OST, but ...?

Lost Odyssey

I started to listen to this awesome OST, so I could pick some songs for this thread and I wasn't even half through it, until realized that I was writing almost every song down. I could do that. Really, it's that good imo. But you know what? I'll give you just this one. That song, that stopped me from writing that list.

Eclipse of Time

And here is the Youtube playlist for the OST.
Lost Odyssey Soundtrack

I hope you'll enjoy it like I did, when I got my CDs.

There was a small spaceship flash game that had one AMAZING song that looped over and over...i'm looking for it now.

I have a number of SimCity 4 tracks on my iPod for this express purpose. I always throw on some ambient when I want to chill. The terrain building music in SC4 gets the job done proper.

Also, some DKC.

While moving my music collect the this morning I came across a few tracks that I'm ashamed of myself for not remembering.

They are all from the Zone of the Enders series:

Zone Of The Enders OST1 - Kiss Me Sunlights (Opening Theme)

Zone Of The Enders OST1 - Flowing Destiny (Ending Theme 1)

Zone Of The Enders OST1 - A Light With A Name Of Hope

Zone Of The Enders - Blue Heart of Air

Zone Of The Enders OST2 - Beyond the Bounds(Mitsuto Suzuki remix)

I could also list all of the Silent Hill 3 OST but here's one of my faves

Silent Hill 3 OST Track 5 Breeze, In Monochrome Night

I could have sworn Sim City on the SNES had some really nice relaxing music that changed with the seasons in game, but I cna't find it on You Tube? (Or am I confusing it with another strategy game..?)

Love the stuff posted here, great threadx100

If it hasn't been added I loved Fancy Mel's theme from Threads of Fate. It's a little happy but still has a chill vibe to it.

Another song I really love is from the PS2's ICO demo. Not sure if it's even in the full game and I don't know the name of it. *edit* "You Were There"

And you know, being an amateur musician myself, I swear some of the music in video games is the best stuff ever written. Seriously underrated composers.

Love that song.

Pretty much all of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles OST. Especially that song that plays at that dock by the river or whatever. I forget what it's called and I can't be assed to look it up. None of you would listen to it anyway. :P

Fallout 3 Soundtrack

Call me old fashioned

I also love the idea that all the songs on the OST represent some facet of the FO3 story/gameplay. :D
