My bike was just stolen :(

the mods are waiting for someone to try and backseat mod him so they can ban that person too.
 
You honestly think something like that will go unchecked? Evilore is probably banging the mortar and pestal now for some mad ban spell... or some such thing.

Wait. What? Link to this instance? There has to be more to the story than that. That seems extremely absurd, even by typical internet forum moderator standards, which manage to be considerably lower than NeoGAF moderator standards.

relax, i was never banned, I don't think anyone was for such a stupid thing.
 
It's not just the monetary loss of what's stolen that hurts.

It's the feeling and the anger of being taken. Personally I've never been able to cope with that.
 
I once left my bike unchained outside my flat in Glasgow for six months and it didn't get stolen. That's the kind of miracle that only happens in the Bible.

i'm man enough to admit as a blackman that whole stole my bike meme is one of the funniest things to me.

It's like when people get racial they get extra creative.

Well I feel stupid. I completely misread your post. Thought it said something like, "Why did I get banned for the misuse of question marks while these racist comments go unchecked?"

This is one of those times where you post late at night, see said post at a later time when more awake, and realize how stupid it makes you look. Or maybe that shit only happens to me.

I'm completely oblivious to the jokes in those pictures. Is it basically the same as if it was "bogan stole my bike"? Or does the joke only exist because it's racist?
 
This thread got weirder since last night and I don't see any reason for God's Beard to be banned. I once wrote a bliog titled "Niggas wanna steal my bike!" after all the failed attempts to steal it through out 2006 and last year. My fave attempt (to laugh at) was when they tried to dig out the sign post my bike was locked to since they could get the bike off. The dug pretty deep before giving up. :lol Least favorite is when they stole the hand breaks off my bike when they couldn't make off with the bike. So I stopped leaving my little Viper X out for more than an hour.

MY bike was stolen from the library and it wasn't chained. i doubt you know me though.

Either that, or it's some kind of crazy charity type thing where the guy collects bikes to give to inner-city poor kids or something.
 
I had two bikes stolen off my back porch 3 days after I moved into my current house in DC. They were locked up, the lock was apparently not bolt-cutter proof. I did the AIDSRide on that bike.. :(
