was that the linesinthesand guy? wasnt that also tsp_gatmog or something? I hated that gatmog guy. although, his quote "I plan to fight strongly in the upcoming console wars along side SONY" made me giggle.

Anyone thinking he's being persecuted should just take a quick stroll over to OA, read the thread on his banning, and then immediately STFU. Keep the gene pool clean. PEACE.

Disclaimer: I do not intend to apologize for the masses of kneejerk liberals, or whatever goes on at Berkeley(not that I really know much about it anyway).

That said, The Liberal tendency to be extremely hostile to all opposing views, or rather the Liberal tendency to FIRST categorize everything into boxes, then start hating and shutting down their brains to people in the boxes they dislike is both dangerous to any liberal democracy and creates a kind of group think effect where only liberal solutions are perceived to be correct and considered.
Liberals are also very simplistic and naive in how they view the world. To them, it is very much like how the neo-cons view the world. There are good guys and bad guys and they (the liberals) are on a crusade to save the world.
First, this is probably only because the political climate in America is so slanted. Shades of grey tend to lose their definition when thrown in with jet black... and liberals are understandably anxious because the radical wing of the GOP has been using them as the Universal Scapegoat for a very long time and is now in power. To compound this, compromise has been thrown out the window. People like Tom DeLay do not believe in the sharing of power and refuse to see democrats and/or liberals as legitimate. Against this no-holds-barred approach to power, being so defensive is probably natural.

And when it comes to social issues, liberals tend to assume everyone out there, aka, The Public, are dumb stupid morons that need to be 'enlightened' and led to the right way by heavy handed liberal policies.
On social issues? I'm not sure what you mean since traditionally liberals have been a strong advocate for personal freedom. Wait, you're probably talking about gun control... but that's a debate not even liberals agree on. Now what they ARE claimed to be heavy handed on is economic policy.

It's no surprise that so many communist and socialist revolutions have gone from being fighting for the people to being authoritarian regimes dictating how people should live, what they should watch and hate etc.
Authoritarianism is authoritiarianism. Be it under fascism or soviet communism.

As for this thread... it's obviously the drug influenced prose, not groupthink or whatever bullshit you're coming up with.

The utter stupidity of the OP makes me seriously doubt it could be written by the same person who wrote the very witty India post a few days ago. That said, that was also one of the very few posts by him I can remember seeing here that weren't borderline rambling-lunatic-on-subway material. The inconsistency is remarkable. This is probably a case of good riddance.

No, it is all him.

His rare moments of lucidity are just there to confuse you.

The rest of what he says is barely-intelligible nonsense strung together with only the weakest of reasoning. Aaaand as soon as you mention it, cue endless pictures of some hanson brother and heated denials about being a pederast.

hahaha, I had no idea this was the guy who regained his virginity because he was baptized. :lol

Parcher once again felt wrath of the gaf groupthink
gaf groupthink? Gaf groupthink doesn't make him choose sides, or assume that anyone who's liberal automatically supports Mao or Lenin. If I came on here and said that anyone here who's conservative probably loves burning people alive, cuz Hitler was conservative too, then I'd get banned.

This guy is just another stupid conservative who cannot voice his opinion in a halfway decent manner without sounding like a complete retard who fell off the back of the shortbus. They're a dime a dozen, and I can't say that I really regret his departure.
