I know this is good advice, and I am at that point right now where I am doing that consideration but it's just too difficult to convince myself it's what I need to do.

Wait a second...now does she lie to people of authority? Does she lie at her job or to her parents or siblings? Those are questions you should be finding answers to. If she lies on the job, then prepare yourself to watch her get fired repeatedly. If she lies to her family, try and find out if this is new or has always been a "quality" of hers. Either way, you better find out if she lies to just you or she lies to everyone. Both scenarios are not good.

I have witnessed her lie to her family before, but I don't know if she has at work. The lies to her family are equally stupid, but I do feel she thinks she will be judged by her family.

It's just a really hard decision to have to come to terms with. I read other peoples story on gaf all the time and usually there is always good advice in there. Especially since I don't have a good hard reason to end things like cheating.

If my girlfriend did that I'd have major trust issues with her. Talk to her about it, or bail out. A liar is someone you never want to get involved with, you might end up getting hurt. But when you confront her again, be nice and considerate.

And dude just because she's hot/does you really well, doesn't mean you should put up with that.

Nah man. That's beyond passive aggressive. Just man up and call her on her shit and leave or accept her for who she is and go forward.

Ya I know it's probably a terrible idea to do that. The thing is I hate "dating" and getting to know people. The cool thing with her was that I didn't have to do any of that, we both just kind of acted flirty/friendly but also just sort of acted like we had been together for a while even though we had just started dating. It really took away a lot of tension and I had never experienced a relationship starting like that before.
 
If you are serious about staying with her, relationship counseling would be a good idea. That way you can have someone moderate your gripes and she won't be able to rage quit out of discussing her problems. It's unhealthy to just let this slide indefinitely.
 
See where it goes. Honestly, it doesn't really feel like you want to confront her, or dump her over it, so try to go with the flow until confronting her about it actually becomes a viable option. Which it will.

If you want to stay together, you'll eventually have to call her out on her shit.

To be honest, I just like throwing out ideas that really fuck with the situation. Sometimes I don't even realize I'm doing it. In all honesty, you probably shouldn't do it. The reality is that if lying constantly is who she is, changing it will not be easy at all.


...or you know, you can have some fun and go with the "lie to her" idea anyway :).
 
DUMP HER ASAP, I just got out of an 8 year relationship with a girl who lied about dumb shit. You cannot trust people like that because you will be left always guessing.

I had an extremely similar experience once. 9 months later I found out the person was trying to marry someone else. If she's lying about small things, there's a very good chance she's lying about much larger issues that you will find out eventually.
