Uh... it's a bit of a different scenario when you're a small localization company who sells themselves on doing things on the cheap and selling to a very small but dedicated audience and you have a hit (that you didn't make) that gets away from you versus being a big publisher who wants to recoup their investment into development of a game and IP you have at least some ownership in.
There are many examples you can choose; Demon's Souls is not one of them.
