Name one dream announcement from the Big Three

Guys, you're supposed to name at least one for each of the big 3 :-p

Nintendo: New, proper, Metroid. (I got my new 3D Mario and Zelda)

Microsoft: Banjo Threeie, Perfect Dark 2, Lost Odyssey 2, Blast Corps 2

Sony: Destruction Derby Reboot, Twisted Metal 2017



If it was all developers, I'd have said Red Dead Redemption sequel/prequel....but we know that's coming.
 
Nintendo: Either a new Mother game or Metroid. Let's go with Mother.
Microsoft: Crimson Skies or Mechassault. (Do they own MA? If not, Crimson Skies).
Sony: Sly Cooper
 
Nintendo: new Mother from Itoi

Microsoft: Banjo Nuts n Bolts 2 (fight me, pussies)

Sony: "Whoah we honestly forgot we were still manufacturing and selling Vita memory cards, here's a huge price cut sorry for the trouble."

I'm kind of happy where Sony is.. maybe a Wild Arms Returns? Fantasy/Western seems like it would be fun with modern technology.

MS: Voodoo Vince 2 or maybe better support for indies or something. I don't really care for them as a corporation or console maker.

Nintendo: More Metroid games in the 2D style. Another Prime. An open-world Luigi's Mansion rather than the bite-sized 2D style. A Paper Mario in the vein of Thousand Year Door. Maybe even a direct sequel. F-Zero sequel. A brand new RPG IP with combat similar to the Mario RPGs and a really good story and writing. Let Alpha Dream or whoever did Color Splash make their own world. Picross 3D 3.

Sony: Ape Escape 4 or Ape Escape remasters. Free online or better Plus lineups. Turning the nozzle up on the release of PS2 classics.
 
Nintendo: the Zelda WiiU tech demo is being made a real game.

Microsoft: Ryse: Knights of Rome

Sony: Street Fighter V Alpha Edition
 
I'm pretty the sure the E3 press conference where Sony announced FF7 Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Shenmue 3 as the Holy Trinity cannot be outdone!

I mean this was just insane! Typing it out is insane in itself!
 
Sony buys Konami games division.

Microsoft obtains Panzer licence and rereleases the Panzer saga in hd.

Nintendo does a mario and sonic game that isn't fighting or sport related.
 
Nintendo: 3D Metroid with focus on mobility (like Titanfall)
Sony: Heavily Sword 2
Microsoft: Alan Wake 2... no, Lost Odyssey 2... no, Alan Wake 2...
 
Microsoft: Rare Replay releasing on PC

Nintendo: Bayonetta 3 and Sin & Punishment 3 announced

Sony: Demon's Souls Remaster handled by Hexadrive

As someone who had a Milliarde avatar for many years, this bums me out to no end. I thought Nintendo owned the IP. UGH
 
Sorry, can't choose just one when there are so many I have on my list.

Nintendo (all on Switch): Super Mario Sunshine remake, a new Metroid (2D or 3D as long as it is good), a new F-Zero (with SEGA), a new Kid Icarus action-adventure game or Uprising sequel, a Mega Man (X) third person action game reboot with Capcom, a new Castlevania with Konami, a new collaboration with Platinum (W102, Bayonetta 3, new IP, new reboot of old Nintendo IP), a new WaveRace, a full-fledged new Double Dragon with ArcSys, StarTropics reboot as Uncharted-like action-adventure game, 3D Donkey Kong (Country) platformer (made by Retro).

Sony (all on PS4): Legend of Dragoon sequel or reboot, Panzer Dragoon (Saga) sequel or reboot with SEGA, Outrun 3 with SEGA + Yu Suzuki, a Skies of Arcadia sequel with SEGA, a Jet Set Radio sequel with SEGA, a new Destruction Derby, maybe a new quirky and colorful game that harkens back to earlier games like Parappa, Jumping Flash and Ape Escape, Demon's Souls 2/remake, Bloodborne 2 or a new FROM collaboration, My Summer Vacaction localised collection.

Microsoft: Scalebound being un-cancelled and re-announced as Scorpio launch title, an old-school Rareware 3D platformer or action-adventure game, any new AAA first party game that is not Halo, Gears of War or Forza.

Microsoft - Ninety Nine Nights 3 developed by Blueside.
Sony - God of War Musou
Nintendo - Dungeon Crawler/Loot Action RPG, existing IP or New IP.
 
Sony: Localized Boku no Natsuyasumi/My Summer Vacation collection

Microsoft: Minecraft 2

Nintendo: Earthbound Collection HD
 
Microsoft just seems to be in this terrible rut where their big games have been milked to the point of boring me, I would love to see a big, new, exciting IP

Sony - can't wait to see what Sucker Punch has been working on

Basically, my dream announcements are new IPs

If I had to choose just one Catherine bar none.
 
Demon's Souls II for Sony, or even just Demon's Souls Remastered.

An amazing console Pokemon game for Nintendo.

Can't think of anything for Microsoft, although I've always thought about how cool a Destiny-style Halo spinoff would be where you customize your Spartan and explore the Halo universe.
 
Nintendo: Metroid Dread. Fully 3D first person Metroid with some horror elements thrown in.

Sony: Next gen sly cooper focused fully on sly with no gameplay changes to break the flow.

Microsoft: Giving Killer Instinct up so I can play it on PS4.
 
Nintendo: Super Smash Bros: The RPG
Sony: An actual new full fledged mainline Ratchet & Clank title
Microsoft: Banjo Threeie
 
Nintendo: a new Metroid. Either fps or sidescroller, but an ACTUAL Metroid.
Microsoft: Crimson Skies. High Road was fantastic, one of my favorite og Xbox games.
Sony: Probably a new Socom or Syphon Filter. Especially Syphon Filter, such great games.
 
Microsoft: PGR5

Sony: Forza Horizon competitor

Nintendo: Console Pokemon RPG with unique mechanics that separate it from the handheld franchise

Game freak and Monolith soft has been working on a game together for the past 3 years, in a franchise that got it's latest installment in 2016.

This, but instead of Ape Escape 4 I would have Sony make The Legend of Dragoon 2. Only change though, great tastes.
