I never caught onto naruto, I then saw clash of ninja coming to the US and kinda loved the look of the gameplay.. i then did more research on the anime, and watched 1 or 2 episodes and the ending of a movie i think on Cartoon Network..
Im now hooked.. And im actively grabbing all the episodes, and have been reading some of the Shonen Jump Anime at gamestop now whenever we get a new issue in.. lol
Damn now I wanna go repurchase a gamecube and get all the clash of ninjas from japan =[

I was a big naruto fanboy when i got naruto 1 for gamecube, and i could even admit that it sucked.

yeah the first Naruto game for GC is shite, the other ones are lot better.

I picked up 4 a few weeks ago. Fantastic edition of the series. They put in Kyuubi Naruto, Curse Level 2 Sasuke, and a boatload of characters. I think it's up to 40. The 4 player is great, and they tuned the camera a bit for 4 player, so it's not as wonky as the one in 3.

As for the GC games, I love them so much. lol I've been playing 4 non stop for like the past week (I've had it since christmas) and I've nearly unlocked everything now.... Clearing certain missions without a clue of what they are when the only guide I've found has gaps is a toughie though. v.v;;

The PS2 series is called Narutimet Hero and the PSP game is Narutimet Hero Portable, and is based entirely on the PS2 series. It uses the exact same engine as Narutimet Hero 3 (the latest in the series) but with a completely new scenario (levels, modes, exclusive characters) created specifically for the PSP version.
Other than that, it's EXACTLY like the PS2 version.
The GC games are called Gekitou Ninja Taisen and play completely different from the PS2 games (GC is more traditional 3D fighter and PS2 is more melee battle style, ala Smash Brothers).
