Cowboys have truly terrible wingers.

Bani really should have scored early in the half.

Dreadful round so far. Only the Melbourne game was overly good.

And the Brisbane one of course..

Yeah a lot of the teams who looked sharp last week dropped off completely

And I found it amazing how Canberra looked worse with Orford playing.... They should improve when Dugan/Tongue/Campese are back though

Besides the Dragons, the only team I'm confident about being a top 8 team is Melbourne. They are obvious threats, I should've put some money on them while they were out to $28 or whatever it was.

Ughhh Cowboys where is the form from several years ago? I was looking over the team before the season started and it didn't look particularly exciting, was hoping the new 5/8 would go good but he hasn't left his mark yet.

Oh well at least the Broncs won (even though Im not particularly confident in them just yet with their young troops, such a messy game) and I'm 99% sure Dragons will win so hopefully will finish the weekend of footy on a good note.

Pretty much every team besides the storm (and maybe the knights) this weekend has played like utter garbage. Hopefully next weeks games are a little higher quality.

I didn't put any tips in last week and I managed to get 5 points. Guess they automatically award points for away wins if you fail to tip.

Yay finally we got on the board, that's a relief.

Thought our first 20 was sloppy but we were solid to good for the remaining 60

Really happy with Brisbanes defense tonight, but far out our attack is driving me crazy.

2/2 yay. Yeah the attack was a bit weak but should improve a fair bit throughout the season, everyone is to buff but they will probably lean down a bit.

Can't remember if I tipped Souths or Parra..

I have a feeling it might be Parra though :(

Btw do you guys in Queensland get Sydney games on delay?

I think we should start using spoiler tags seeing as our games are on opposite times :p

Another 2 shit house games. At least the broncos showed some promise. Souths defense is pathetic, titans attack is pathetic and parras everything is downright embarrasing.

I'm hoping the standard of footy picks up pretty soon because this is as bad as i can remember.

Don't get me wrong im still enjoying it but most teams seem to be coming out of the blocks slow.

Well that is a better start for my tips this week, 2/2.

Great to see the bunnies win a game, even if our defence was pretty suspect.

Refs looking for a Souths win?
He certainly seemed to be giving them a helping hand. Two disallowed tries? Really? Absolutely pathetic.

I was concerned about the Inglis vs Morgan matchup because Morgan's defense is truly horrible. I'm surprised Souths didn't push down his side more often, it was obviously weak down that side. Did they even watch any of the Eels game videos? Morgan bounces off attackers like a beach ball.

Even if the Eels were awarded those 2/3 disallowed tries, Souths could've worked that side and won.On top of that, Ben Smith was horrible, he put us on the back foot so many times and is lucky he didn't get penalised more often than he did.

I am happy that the Eels do seem to be progressing as a team. They just need to get Morgan to work on his tackling, I think he's a promising young player.

Edit: Oh and I feel sorry for Isaac Luke, no one deserves that to happen to them. He did put himself in that position though, he's lucky he's not in a wheelchair, or dead.

I thought they were tough but borderline calls

Luke is a tough little guy

BTW did anyone notice Peter Sterling's comments when they went to an ad break? Phil Gould said "that's terrible" about Luke's injury and then Sterlo says (in the background) "yeah terrible, he's in my dream team."
