One guy is white the other is Asian. Their hair is different, and you're looking at Jeremy Lin from a distance. Chander Parson's hair looks off; otherwise, they look pretty accurate.

You can barely see any details of Lin's face and only a side profile of Parson's face in that screenshot. His hair is definitely wrong, but it looks similar to him from the side.
Not trying to defend the game, really, but I'd wait until better screenshots come out before definitively saying the models for those two are inaccurate.

The face wrinkles look wrong and it's definitely looking gimmicky. It looks like a texture that turns off and on instead of real deformation. But even if it's not deformation, they could at least have a gradual effect instead of off and on. To me it looks like a texture and then a shiny piece of plastic afterwards.
I'm being nitpicky, but I'm thinking that 2K saw NBA Live 14 and said, "Oh shit" and just put a new spit shine on the same old ass engine.
Live 14 looks fresher but after the Jesus Bynum and the Madden bugs, who knows how this is going to play.
2K14 might have to do for the basketball fix, though. But all of 2K's games have had it's share of ridiculous bugs and graphical glitches since the Dreamcast days.

In the beginning of the trailer Lebron vaporizing into the 3D model. I figured as much, but it's not entirely accurate because of the setting and post processing effects.
Still neat.

I think so, you'll have more dynamic materials/cloths this gen as well as more "true to life" skin tones as you'll have proper subsurface scattering of light.
