My expectations are at the floor, so I can't be disappointed. Right.

I'll probably have tons of questions during the game, as I'm still pretty new to it all, or maybe I should just sit back and relax, and enjoy the game.

Jordan don't care. 96 bulls never lost this much in the playoffs and finals, had their stars look like garbage, and had multiple blowout losses. If gsw win tonight it's a great great team but hard to argue best ever.
So second best? Im still not even sure theyre that.

If it goes over while the game's still on, we'll just wait til it finishes before locking this one up.

Then we can either re-open the other one, or you can just all go to the Offseason thread. :P

How about we don't post as much in here, so we don't have to sully ourselves posting in that thread with the top 10 WOAT thread title.

Much rather be in John Starks shoes during Game 7 of the 1994 Finals before posting in there.

We'll be in the Lebron James is Most Likely Going to Win One For The Land, Finally thread after the game

Ls will be taken

If the Warriors win tonight, they will have won 140 games and two championships the last two seasons. Yes, they will be in discussion for best ever.

And if the Cavs win? LeBron will be able to hang with any of the all time greats. That's it. That's the legacy.

Best regular season team maybe.

We now present you with the 'Peyton Manning Award'

Those numbers are widely available. Do yourself a favor and look them up and stop with the hot takes.
I looked them up before I posted that FYI. I also remember vividly how everyone and their mama was calling Wade done during those years. Even suggesting trading him. I think he was just hurt though cause he looks great now. But I dont see what use we have pretending he was playing HoF level during that time. If he was they wouldnt have gotten beat like ever

Welp, not gonna be able to watch this live now. Guess I'll have Google to keep me updated. Probably a good thing, though, as watching it live would be bad for my heart if the game is a nail biter.

If the Cavs lose, LeBron will be pounced on for being a choker.

If the Cavs win, people will just hit him with "Well, he's not as good as Michael Jordan !!!1!11"

I don't believe you. One last chance before I post these numbers and expose this hot take for what it is.

But Peyton Manning is notorious for coming up short in the playoffs. If the Warriors win two championships in a row...
Admittedley basketball doesn't allow much room for surprises in the playoffs. The best team almost always wins. But this is not the same team that we saw for the first 82. They've been shook in two different series. This playoff run has not been super impressive (for a team with 73 wins at least.) regardless of the outcome tonight.
