I think someone on GAF made up something about a Metal Gear Triology (was it supposed to be Trilogy since its not a series of books?) and then it somehow stuck and was reported as an actual news item, even though it didnt exist.
EDIT: Hopefully they post a little blurb about how GAF "even has their very own dis rap". Kinda surprised most people still flip out about being banned, when a good majority of the time...they wouldnt if they would just take a deep breath and step away when things seem heated.
That and of course "think before you speak".

Also, that faux italic with negative tracking looks hideous. Might I suggest GT a typeface of quality, something like HTF Champion for that tightly set compressed gothic look that does faux italic more gracefully?

If it where only little angry gamers, no one would talk about gaf that much as they're doing it right now.
It's because here are some of the best people doing what they're good at. Finding leaks, talking about tech etc. Sure there are other sites with people like that, too. But gaf got more of them.
