NeoGAF Anime of the Year 2014 - Voting Thread

Not open for further replies.
I want to love it more than I actually do. The animation, framing and timing is superb, but sometimes, for the sake of style they go with some really bad drawings. Its meant for effect but it screams too artsy fartsy for me.

There were production issues during Ping Pong's run. Not that it excuses the dips in quality but... well...

Though I'm not sure if those are what you were referring to.

Those dont help, but thats fine, happens in every anime. Even the wobbly linework seems to be done on purpose (if youre doing clean-up in a rush you wont get wobbly lines like that)

I'm talking about some decisions that were made on purpose,, like when Ryu looks like a monster in ep 04 I think, sometimes its like they go for Napoleon Dynamite style art and thats just a style I'm not into.

I actually found Ping Pong's aesthetic to be a particularly charming trait, one that fits the overall tone and energy of the show. If you need any further reason than that then perhaps you could say that Ping Pong's sloppy art style represented Mr. Tsukimoto's lack of commitment!

eps 3-5 is clearly low point, the production issue certainly don't help.

But when its on, its ON.. eps 2 and last 2 eps is mighty gorgeous. But yeah there's some choke here and there, even on the OP.

1. Hunter x Hunter
2. Hajime no Ippo: Rising
3. JoJo Stardust Crusaders
4. Silver Spoon
5. Noragami
6. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
7. Log Horizon
8. Knights of Sidonia
9. Terror in Resonance
10. Barakamon

Honorable Mention: Parasyte gets a mention because it's the one showing the most promise for next year. If next year it builds on what it showed this year it will definitely get listed.

10. Barakamon was another good slice of life this year had. I find myself a little less enthusiastic about it compared to a lot of other people but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the ride. Sadly I don't have anything special to say about it since it's one of those series you just watch and feel good for the rest of day.

9. Zankyou no Terror was a very enjoyable more adult oriented series than probably all the rest. It was a small, tight, complete and coherent detective story. In an industry where doujinshi like endings are plenty and works refusing to conclude are the norm it feels good to watch series like these. It's interesting as hell and a great one to suggest to someone not keen on anime.

/. Sidonia no Kishi's presentation is top notch. If this was a primary example of how good 3D can look we wouldn't be bitching every time an anime uses it. It's really sad that people only pay attention to the, admittedly, horrible character models and their animations and forget the breathtaking space fights that are also shown. Soundtrack and especially sound effects are also excellent. Attack on Titan on space when it comes to its plot is pretty accurate and its damn fun.

7. Log Horizon is exactly what we needed in a world where SAO is popular. Many people will find it's lack of action boring but that's exactly why it shines. It builds an MMORPG world by paying attention to its economy and the interactions between NPC and PC. It spends time explaining game mechanics instead of dating waifus.

6. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun was definitely the sleeper hit of the year. I can't believe I laughed so much with it. Just like HxH it took every single trope a shoujo or a romcom had and presented in the funniest way possible. An excellent comedy all round.

5.Noragami was another anime that reminded me something. It reminded how much I love a good Bones anime. The perfect chemistry of its characters combined with the amazing audiovisual support of Bones really made it shine. It played it really safe most of the time but it still left a really great aftertaste. It had so much heart it's insane.

4.I have been a fan since Arakawa wrote the first chapter. By the time the anime was announced I considered it one the best slice of life works I have read and then seen. I still can't believe making a fucking pizza could create so many feelings inside of me. And this is just one example out of many, many others.

3.JoJo part 3 made me understand why this was the part that made it popular. I liked Part 1 and 2 but the -I don't know how should I call it- the awesomeness that Part 3 has might be unmatched to the whole industry. Over the top anime at its best. It is the epitome of fun.

2. I completely forgot HnI:R ended this year. What can I say about this. When it wants to be funny you laugh your ass off. When it gets serious you furiously bite your nails from excitement. When feelings come into play it hurts but you can't stop watching. Everything you need in a sports anime, it has it. I couldn't believe a flashback story could have been so damn exciting and interesting, enough to end the season with it. I really hope we don't have to wait another 5 years for the next season.

1.HxH reminded me of my first days of watching anime when every generic battle shounen would make me lose my sleep out of excitement. The way it takes every trope the genre has, twists them and then presents them in so many interesting and original ways was amazingly refreshing. Ironic considering the manga's age.

EDIT: I completely forgot Ippo Rising was this year. Parasyte gets demoted into an honorable mention now.

I didn't watch as many shows as I would have liked this year (I have to start SWO2 when I have some time), and of the ones I watched many were disappointing, so I don't have a top 10.

1) Psycho-Pass 2; Akane is back and better than ever. This was the best show I watched this year thanks to the tight pacing and the great main heroine. Waiting for the movie now.
2) Kill la Kill; Mako. Mako made this show. Without Mako this show would be nothing. Well no, it would still be something, because Ryuuko was nice too, discounting those couple bad episodes, but in the end, Mako. Mako rocks and as such so does KLK.
3) No Game No Life; Funny and unabashed show with a couple of great main characters. They're broken in their own ways and that's what made watching the show so good. Can't wait for more.
4) Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works; It has Saber and Shirou manages himself well. I couldn't have asked for more.
5) Rage of Bahamut: Genesis; It turned out a lot better than I expected when I started watching the first episode just out of curiosity. Main guy is an asshole and it works to make the show better.

TV Series:

1. Hunter x Hunter - The finale to one of my favorite series ever; the ending of the Chimera Ant arc was incredible, with it's incredible fight scenes, and emotional development. While the Election Arc cemented it as an amazing series. For anyone who hasn't watched the series, it's the pinnacle of awesome storytelling in a shounen.

2. Space Dandy - This was a super fun show. I looked forward to watching it every Sunday night and it would put me in a good mood going into Monday morning. It's like a mega-goofy/trippy Cowboy Bebop.

3. No Game No Life - This had some very suspect sequences, but overall an awesome show. I loved the art and the brightness it conveyed, the "smarts" used to overcome odds. A smart and original show. Can't wait to see it emerge again.

4. Nanatsu no Taizai - This one is mainly carried by the King Arc, which was literally one of the strongest starts to a shounen I've seen, culminating in episode 9, which I've rewatched like 8 times and I could keep watching it. Awesomely animated and usually well directed. The most recent episodes have taken a budget hit (damn you, ep.9), but it seems like the next episode (13?) is due to deliver.

5. Haikyuu! - This is sports anime crack. That's all there is to it. The highs are incredibly high and the lows make you feel like shit. I felt like the animation was strong throughout the entire series, and when they nail it, you felt just as elated as the players on the court. It would be higher if I wasn't such a Shounen hoe.

6. Gundam Build Fighters - I usually don't like Gundam shows, but this is the equivalent of Super Smash Bros in Gundam form. Just the best of the best, with unadulterated awesome fights. If only the second season was as good as this one.

7. Jojo Stardust Crusaders - ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA

8. Mushishi - Same old Mushishi. High quality as usual. It's taken a detour from my favorite style of episodes, ie incredibly crazy/fantasy-style Mushi's just being chaotic, towards a more person-driven story, but it doesn't detract from it.

9. Noragami - It was stylish and fun. That's all I got.

10. Parasyte - As a replacement to Hunter x Hunter, the animation is top notch and had a pretty strong start. It's in a bit of a lull now, but I have confidence it's going to be badass in 2015. Maybe AOTY?

1. Ping Pong the Animation; I loved the live action movie and this show was a great version. The additional backstory for Dragon was something that wasn't in the film and I thought it was great for character development. This was the only anime I actually completed this year, but it's the best I've seen in a while.

Yeah I enjoyed Silver Spoon and all, but it was OK. The jokes arent that funny and the setting loses its novelty in the 2nd season. Id like to watch more, for sure, but it was unremarkable.

My Top 10 Anime of 2014:

10.
58139l.jpg
Noragami: Has great characters, great comedy, and a pretty good OST, the last few episode were not as good as the first few episode, but still one best production that BONES has done in a while.

9.
Hanamonogatari: I really started liking these series after season two, the story very well done, the interactions between the two main characters of this was very well done as well, very colorful animation, and I really enjoy the witty dialogues and many metaphors it trows about life in this 5-part story. Can't not wait for the final season of the Monogatari series.

8.
Haikyuu!!: Just a fun anime to watch, great character, hilarious, great production values, smooth animation. Can't wait for season 2.

7.
Barakamon: A great story of finding oneself and developing their own style in the world, great characters, kids actually sound and act like kids, funny as well, and you could kind of relate to the character struggle to try to find his own style. Worth a watch.

6.
Nagi no Asukara: Wonderful anime, has some serious themes such as discrimination, has very well thought out story. Beautiful animation and art style, one of the best of this year. Amazing OST. Characters that are pretty likable. Also, a very good romance with actually some mystery with who will end up with who. The only problem is that first half is better than the second half, but nothing the less, is still amazing show.

5.
Kuroko no Basket Season 2: Oh Kuroko, oh Kuroko. What a fun series. This season to me was way better than the first season was. The matches were more funner to watch. The OST was improve. The animations was fantastic. Overall, is just a fun series to watch even though is not very realistic.

4.
Ping Pong The Animation: This anime is not about ping pong. Ping pong is just the canvas for this show. The painting is the characters themselves. Ping pong is character study that is done excellent. The 4 characters all have problems of their own and also showcase what sport of ping pong means to them. One character has the talent for the sport but lacks the effort to improve his skills further and one character has gain advance skills in the sport after all his hard work of practicing every day but does really care about the fame and fortune the sport could bring him. Impressive story, excellent character development in such short series (11 episodes) and just plain fun to watch. My only problem with is the art style which takes a while to get used to, even for a veteran watcher as myself and animation is not best ever, but it makes it up with amazing story to back it up. Watch if you haven't.

3.
Hajime no Ippo: Rising: OMG, my all-time favorite sport series has return! Nobody was expecting this anime to return, but damn was the wait so worth it! I love this series so much that I actually read some of the manga. While the series already established a formula that does not change that often (just like real sports), is the characters that draws you into this series (just like real sports). Each new opponent that Ippo faces bring some new challenge that Ippo must overcome in order become stronger. Each new boxer that is introduce has well developed personality and back-story to backup why they do boxing. Some do it get stronger, some for the glory, and some for the love of the fight. Just really well done series that I which for more seasons to come. Plus it has top-notch animation and some memorable OST.

Edit: will finish.

Series

1. Mushishi Second Season; Its more Mushishi. Whats not to like? This season had some incredibly standout episodes for the series and while its a bummer I have to wait a while to seethe final story animated what was in the second season was nothing short of masterful.

2. Shirobako; The meta commentary on working in the anime industry may be too inside baseball for some but it was perfect for me. The stress of working in anime production really shone through while still managing to have a more lighthearted and comedic tone. It also dealt with the malaise and uncertainty that most newly employed young people experience when they start their professional careers. Having a show about working 20-somethings is also a nice change of pace to see when so many shows are about teens now a days.

3. Ping Pong; The "perfect" Sports anime. I wouldn't envy anyone who was tasked with bringing Taiyo Matsumoto's incredible art to life. Yuasa did a (mostly) fantastic job of capturing Matsumoto's unconventional style in animation and it also helps that Ping Pong is mainly a character study of the players and their motivations and not in the nitty gritty details of the sport itself.

4. Encouragement of Climb S2; This was an extremely relaxing and ernest show about a group of girls who bond over mountain climbing. The increased runtime over the first season definitely helped this season as it was able to spend more time on the girls mountain climbing and lots and lots of scenery porn.

5. Barakamon; This was a pretty hilarious fish out of water comedy about a calligrapher trying to improve his craft by traveling to a remote island. The relationship between Naru and Handa was touching at times but more often hilarious. We got lots of great reaction faces and gifs out of the show to, so bonus!

6. Log Horizon Season 2; More Log Horizon. If you've watched the first season then you know what to expect. This season focusing more heavily on raid mechanics was pretty great for anyone who was a hardcore MMO player in the past.

7. Monthly Girls' Nozaki-Kun; A hilarious send up of shoujo manga tropes with crazy and wacky characters. Probably the funniest show this year.

8. Silver Spoon Season 2; A continuation of the excellence that was the first Season.

9. Haikyuu; While this is a more traditional shounen sports show, the production values and direction really elevated above most other sports shows out there.

10. Sabagebu; A wild and crazy show about and all Girls Airsoft club. The references to so many western action movies and crazy situations kept me throughly entertained throughout.

Will add Movie's/Shorts/OVAs once I actually watch some.

Your feelings are wrong.

Silver Fang is eternal.

1. Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun;
til30kc.png

It's rare for a series to make me laugh out loud but this show did it constantly. It does a fantastic job of taking anime tropes and subverting them in a way that's unexpected, yet often providing a somewhat more realistic outcome than the scenario you expect.

The characters are all lovable in their own way, and while the relationships between the characters are the standard shoujo affair I found myself actually invested in wanting those relationships to progress.

2. When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace;
ItJzZm9.png

What an unexpected treat this series has been. Usually when people randomly gain superpowers, you'd expect them to go around finding excuses to use it everywhere, but in this one everyone mostly just wants to keep living a normal school life, and dealing with normal school life problems. There are many times I'd forget superpowers are even a thing in this show, which makes when they use their superpowers so much more interesting.

The main character is also pretty fantastic. His character is summed up perfectly by him going all in on confidence with his completely useless power of summoning a slightly warm flame. It's hard to pin him down as just being an idiot having fun, or a genius by trying to make the others feel better about their own powers. Either way, it kind of proves it isn't so much how powerful someone is, but the way you carry it that makes them so awesome, because every time he brings out his power it is pretty epic, up until they remind you it's not.

3. Sabagebu! - Survival Game Club;
e5NzGbA.png

Another show where it's the main character makes the series so good. This time it's the incredibly normal, yet completely heartless Momoka, who fits perfectly well into a gun loving survival club.

4. No Game No Life;
T7FSjIz.png

I love the fantastical world they created for No Game No Live, and the games were pretty thrilling and interesting. The characters themselves aren't that great, it's saved by fun gaming scenarios that encompass most of the series.

I didn't watched a lot so here my "List"

Series:
  1. HunterxHunter
  2. Kill la Kill

HunterxHunter was a stellar Series, heard of the new Version here on Gaf first back in 2011, when i was still lurking, still one of the best recommendations i got.

Kill la Kill came into my View the same Way, but it wasn't as good as HxH. It still great, but still underneath HxH

Movies
  • Gintama

The only Anime-Movie i watched, but i loved it. It was just pure bliss.

I ended up blazing through Silver spoon since everybody had it on their lists. It's a fine show and I enjoyed it, but the lack of a real endgame kinda makes it not as good as others for me.

This isn't to say that slice of life shows don't have end games. I think barakkamon had a clear and concise goal set for the protagonist.

I won't say SS didn't have a plot, because it did but I kinda felt like I watched 2 seasons of filler for the real silver spoon( if that makes sense). It's very good filler though

Pork bowl was sad though

1. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun; One of the best comedy show since Nichijou.

2. Parasyte; It was one of my favorite manga of all time, the anime adaption is so good I couldn't ask for anything more. Well may be stop using the same soundtrack every episode.

3. Log Horizon; Log Horizon would be my number 1 show this year if they didn't change studio for season 2. The drop in quality is painful, the amazing source material is the only thing keeping it interesting.

4. Ore Twintail ni Narimasu; It is a show about a guy loved twintail so much, that he must fight against an alien race that plan to steal twintail attribute away from planet earth. Plus there are boobs, panties, and harem everywhere! I started the show as a troll watch thinking it would be something that's "so bad it is amazing". Then I realize that the show actually took itself seriously.

There are a lot of anime that had amazing concepts, but piss poor execution that ruined the whole show (see : original SAO, attack on titan). Ore Twintail ni Narimasu is the complete opposite, it is something you had to see to believe. Just look at the original art:

5. Gundam Build Fighters; It is clear to me now that Gundam anime team will never able to do proper story about politic. The only thing they are good at is writing about teenagers screaming and killing each other with giant robot. GBF focused on what they are good at. I would rank it higher if the 2nd half of the show didn't end every fight with "miracle punch".

6. Sword Art Online II; If I never watched SAO1, SAO would be one of my favorite series of all time. It is very unfortunate that I am forever traumatized by SAO1 that I will never fall in love any of its character or world. SAO II is a great show, but errr if only SAO1 never exist....

7. Tokyo Ghoul; The manga is god like, it is sad that they don't see the potential of the show and only gave it 13 episode. The show could be so much more.

8. No Game No Life; Interesting world and concept, it is hard to write a story purely based on battle of wit, and the show managed to pull it off well.

9. Akame ga Kill!; The only thing I hate about the show is it ended before the manga. If you ignore the manga, it is a pretty good show standalone.

10. Amagi Brilliant Park; Great comedy with interesting plot, but deep inside I wish the show have more "brain". Stop solving every problem with magic and coincident.

1. Samurai Flamenco; A true gem that many seem to have forgotten. A show that rivals Gurren Lagann in insanity. I consider the show a must watch especially with it's second half throwing expectations away
2. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun; Well, to start off, Awesome OP. The cast is really distinct and likeable. Good jokes in there too. It also had Chiyo who was very cute.
3. Shirobako; A unique take on anime, that takes on the maker. Does it so that I sort of understand how difficult the process is. Also, Donuts
4. Barakamon; Very subtle comedy. it has a nicely homely feel sort of like Non Non Biyori except with calligraphy instead of moe girls
5. Space Dandy; Felt very unique with some episodes that really shine. I also liked the lack continuity as it was easily watchable out of order
6. Noragami; Really good action alongside pretty good music with an enjoyable plot
7. Mushishi S2; Not as good as the first season, it does do what it aims to do pretty well.
8. No Game No Life; It is pretty interesting journey. The anime looked gorgeous and it had a solid music plus they made the games pretty damn exciting
9. Yuki Yuna Yuusha; It does the Madoka pretty well without mimicking Madoka too much
10. Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!; The campiness and outright silliness won the show over for me. It's just good anime fun

Honorable Mentions
Parasyte; It does a dark story decently solid for a shonen show but the girls are depicted as kind of dumb and the show likes to retread on points
Nagi no Asukara; A pretty solid anime that handled the time skip fairly well. It was cute though the relationship web was a mess. Still it got people to root for certain girls so it did something right
Witch Craft Works; Incredibly catchy ED
Sabagebu

OVAs
1. Me!Me!Me!; Incredibly animated and having a lot of depth without spoken words by the characters
2. Date A Live: Encore; Because Kurumi
3. Hayate No Gotoku OVA; Admittedly I'm putting this on the list because of the ending sequence being a full animation of the second season's Ending song
4. Santa Company; it was pretty decent and I'm recognizing its merits as one of the first crowdfunded anime
5. Dragon Dentist; Pretty cool conceptual and interesting art

God, I hit a HUGE slump this year with anime. I watched way too few, so I'll gladly step out of voting and hope to learn of some gems when it is all over. I'm sad too---I got a quote in there for The Eccentric Family last year :(

Series:
1. Ping Pong the Animation: Yuasa did it again. Adaptation of Taiyo Matsumoto Ping Pong manga. Yuasa not only did direct adaptation, he also expand some of the sub plot that never got another mention in the manga. Daring animation style, with some of the most famous animator working on this show making some of the best sakuga.

2. Gekkan Shojo Nozaki-kun: Parody of shojo manga tropes. I laugh at so many scene. Fun show all around!

3. Space Dandy: Basically, animation anthology. Each episode helmed by different director and it show. Some show is Dandy surfing in space, other epiisode is high school musical in space! 2D dandy! Death dandy! It's an enjoyable experience.

4. Shirobako: A work comedy in animation industry. Not only it provide some info on how anime is made, it also have a very good comedy and drama moment.

5. World Conquest Zvezda Plot: Bizarre anime about bunch of weird group trying to take over the world. Featuring the best anti smoking campaign ever conceived in tv anime and the most moe robot of all time.

6. Barakamon: A slice of life comedy about calligrapher that moved to an island. It's entertaining and all around fun

7. Parasyte the maxim: Body horror and a young man journey to make sense of it. Also, dick hand!

8. Jojo Bizarre Adventure: Ghost punching the living shit out of somebody and trivia about many countries.

9. Samurai Flamenco: Ugly animation, genre shift change making no sense, nonsensical story, dumbest twist ever. Absolute blast to watch. Also #GGGate

10. Rage of Bahamut Genesis: A very enteraining show about a bounty hunter. Story become weaker in later episode, but overall it still a very entertaining show.

Honorable mention:

Nagi no Asukara: Hate the first three episode, but it got better along the way.
Sabagebu: A good substitute to Gintama
Kill la Kill: It is a very entertaining show, but it already got mentioned in previous AOTY, so there's that :P
Mushishi: Well, it's Mushishi, everyone and their dog know it.
Log Horizon 2nd season: DATABASE! DATABASE!
Ore Twintails ni narimasu: Absolutely bonker

Ova
1. Gurl und Panzer Ova: About time we get to know what happen to Anzio!
2. Tamako love story: If only they put this segment in the tv series, it might have a better reception!
3. I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying: 3 minute of hilarious stuff
4. Pupipo: I want high score girl anime to be animated! Dammit!
5. Me!Me!Me!: Cool music and animation. NSFW
6. later
7. Later

1. Samurai Flamenco; I first considered this to be a trainwreck, with the rails positioned right off a cliff. Then the train grew wings, punched me in the face, and then took me on a tour of the galaxy. Quite possibly the wildest ride of the year. An "interesting" plot along with fun characters really made this one of the funnest things I've watched all year.

2. Ping Pong; A unique art style alongside a meaningful story and well-written characters. The best part is that it pretty much feels like no character is wasted, and they all have their own personal stories, development, and growth. The stylistic ping pong matches themselves were also very entertaining to watch.

3. Mushishi Zoku Shou; Second season is every bit as enjoyable as the first. Each story is as standalone as before, and every bit as chilling, haunting, and thoughtful.

4. Log Horizon; Everything I wanted SAO to be. With the heavier focus on the MM part of MMORPG, it was great nostalgia from the days I played WoW. But it wasn't only nostalgia that fueled my interest, as the story itself was very compelling. Even arcs that amount to nothing more than talking, debating, and scheming were interesting to watch. And I'm always a sucker for the pseudopolitics in anime.

5. Gundam Build Fighters; Although I didn't watch it while it was airing, I did blitz through it later in the year. While it does dispense the usual war and politics of usual Gundam series, the setting itself is a ton of fun. Battles were great to watch, and the cast were all fun and had their quirks. Soundtrack was absolutely fantastic.

Nothing for 6-10, as everything else was either not fun or only an average level of fun.

1: Hunter x Hunter : This year was one of the best for Hunter with many of the episodes near the end being particularly good. It's a shame Togashi goes on so many breaks, hopefully we get more Hunter x Hunter in the future.

2: Ping Pong : Who knew Ping Pong could be so damn interesting. This show has a very unique art style and the writing is fantastic with excellent pacing and execution.

3: Space Dandy : This show delivers unique episodes on a weekly basis and explores many different themes. Great show for sheer entertainment.

4: Barakamon : Calligraphy ; It makes you feel good. This show always puts me in a good mood after watching and has some nice humorous elements.

Only Anime for me.

1. Parasyte: The Maxim - Just watch it, one of the best adaptations of a manga, Migi is amazing, the psychology of the characters is great with the exception
Of some females
.

2. Hunter X Hunter - The last episodes on HxH wow, so much emotions, masterpieces, I loved what I watch and maybe this might be the last time in a LONG, LONG time that we might watch HxH on anime.

3. Kill La Kill - It's like consuming 5 Monster Energy without killing yourself.

4. Akame Ga Kill - Well done series, even if
people find that post ep 20 is stupid
.

5. SAO II - It's funny, it started as a train-wreck, ended wonderful, people can hate all they want but the second half saved this Anime and took it to the top of great anime.

6. Space Dandy - Not much to say, it was a great series from beginning to end.

7. Aldnoah.Zero - Wow, just wow, problem it was slow as hell, but good.

8. Ping Pong The Animation - SPORTS.
LOL SPORTS

10. Hajime no Ippo: Rising - I like more Ippo, I want more Ippo for 2015. Pls.

2. Barrakamon; probably the most charming show I've watched in a long time

7.i can't understand what my husband is saying; just a funny, charming great little show. You see into the relatiship of the main charactets

8.Log Horizon; season 2 is on of my all time favorites and while this season has gotten off to a slow start I still have faith that it'll turn it around. So I dropped it to 7

9. Inou Battle within everyday life; I actually really like this show, but I have to see at least another season of it. Not much was accomplished this season

10.Terraformars; I actually felt uneasy while watching the first few eps. There was such a sense of despair. Action is cool and I like the different characters powers. Interesting to see where it goes

Akame ga kill; started off great but completely floundered

Blue spring ride; great show but not quite as good as Say I love you or my little monster

Dengi kai; funny show but the no continuity hurts it a little

Akatsuki no Yuna; this would've been in my top 10 if it had come out earlier and had more episodes.

Tokyo ghoul; really started to pick up towards the end

I actually ended up watching a few more shows through. Sigh, now I gotta find where to put these shows in my top 10
