Netflix now on Irish & UK PSN/XBL

DNS trick isnt working for me anymore on PS3. Tried going from auto to manual DNS, re-downloading app.

Is it working for anyone else?
 
Back to UK content for me too on 360.

That's so shit, I've been revising all week for an exam today and I planned watching a few episodes of Mad Men tonight.
 
If we're locked to UK content they need to up their game if I'm going to stay subbed. Not much of interest on UK store other than the documentaries (of which there's many more on the US store, too).

Just started up the app on my 360, and I'm back to the awful UK line-up. The US stuff was working fine last night. Argh! Is that it? I think it might be time to cancel the trial and check the service again in a couple of years when they might've built up a decent selection.

Unless anyone know of any other way to get the US content?

Yeah, I doubt there was really much Netflix could do about this if the rights holders have found out about the trick, but it'll probably hurt their subscriptions, I'm sure a lot of people would have been much more likely to keep the subscription going if they knew they could access US content.
 
I was going to keep my subscription past the free month if I had access to the US content, not now though.

There's just not enough there to keep me interested.

It was never going to be given how long its been out in the usa, i think i will stick with it and see how the content starts to flow it still beats out loveflim as there streaming quality is rank and i find it worth the price but i hope they manage to start adding more.

There's still quite a bit I'd like to watch, but it's definitely a huge downgrade from the US version - it even seems to have more British TV shows on there than we do over here, which is just bizarre. They could have at least softened the blow a bit by actually sticking to the weekly updates they promised, but that doesn't look like it's happening either.
 
It might not be the Netflix that's blocked, it could be that the unblock-us site has realised everyone is using the DNS without paying.
 
I'm hoping that the unblock-us severs are down.

The check the service link on their website says that I am not connected to them.

EDIT: Actually I'm positive that it is their severs. Unless every website that the service unblocks decided to coordinate to block unblock-us at the same time.

Aaah! Playmo doesn't support Xbox 360. That's what I use to watch Netflix on.
 
Are the Playmo signups immediate or am I gonna have to wait an arbitrary amount of time to be 'invited' like the site seems to suggest? I don't really want to hand over my details for something that might not become available for months.
 
So I seen on a forum that the Europe server was down for unblock-us, but is back up now. Is anyone able to test it again and see if they get the US content on the 360?
 
Playmo worked for me. I updated my router so all my devices should be able to get US Netflix.

It's a bit of a worry that unblock_us doesn't work. Are Netflix blocking this type of activity?

Did the DNS thing with playmo. The US selection is ridiculous! I have no idea where to start.

I've lost the personalised suggestions and all my ratings though. Is this normal? Also, picture quality is now a lot worse.

The US choice is amazing. I've spent hours trawling through page after page of content on PC. It seems endless. The UK content seems very small relatively.
 
Quick question to you lads who are changing your router's DNS. Are you still able to access content like iPlayer even though it redirects to a US IP?
