the arrowverse shows (the arrow, the flash, supergirl, legends of tommorrow) - start with the arrow as there is a timeline to these shows with crossover episodes. I think season 3 of the arrow happens at the same time as season 1 of flash. Then supergirl starts during season 4 of the arrow. Legends of tommorrow starts during season 4 of the arrow (or thereabouts). In the current seasons of the show there is a 4 episode crossover including all 4 shows. It's still an ongoing series but really worth checking out. Like 8 seasons between the 4 shows on netflix atm.

I started watching Burn Notice and I watched up to S1E6. I don't know, it's not really clicking. Does it get better? I find the random edits and random "images" kind of annoying, but not deal breaking. I'll keep watching, at least season 1. I feel like each episode is too samey so far.

That's what I was finding as well. I stopped at S2E2. Might go back to it. I mean, I like the characters, but it's not overwhelmingly gripping.

It's pretty much the same thing every episode but it's a very easy watch. They use Bruce Campbell more as the show goes forward so that's great.

My wife and I watched the pilot episode of Frontier last night.

In summary, when Momoa is on-screen things feel electric and engaging. When he's not, I had trouble paying attention. Given he's only on-screen for about 5 minutes in the 1st ep, that doesn't bode well.

Anyone watch more of this and have a similar take on the pilot and any indication that things get better?

If I've got the order right in my head the next episode (or coming up soon at least) should be False Flag, which should address the latter criticism at least. I think season 2 is when it really hits its stride and you don't get hints of that until the season finale.

Strongly recommend the episode "Bad Breaks" if you want to skip ahead as well.

Not really, i felt that both him and the other main protagonist were the weakest aspects of the show. Not that they were terrible, just bland. I much preferred the bad guys, in an AC3 sort of way.

Can't recommend The Third Man enough. Great movie and visually appealing. Still holds up quite well.

It does change the formula as it goes along, also more focus on the main story about himself later on too. It also might just not be a show that is binge worthy since it is somewhat procedural but as I mentioned later on it changes to be more about half procedural and half about the main story.

It was a pretty good episode. Definitely the best on S1. BTW, it's episode 10.

Thanks, so far I've finished S1. On to S2. It's getting better because the story is progressing. We'll see how far I get.

CW deal is 8 days after season finale. For the majority of their shows anyway.


Santa Clarita Diet is hit or miss it seems. Takes a few episodes to find it's footing.

I watched the first episode of The People vs OJ last night and I really, really enjoyed it. There are some shows where after you watch an episode you sit back and say, "That was really good." This was a show where every moment I was watching it I kept thinking how good it was.

Cuba Gooding Jr. really surprised me...I only know him from "nice guy" roles, so it was terrific watching him display all of OJ's emotion and volatility.

Michael Boltons Big Sexy Valentine Special is friggin hilarious. I highly recommend it if you're looking for something funny. It's a Lonely Island / Comedy Bang Bang production and has tons of comedians in it.

Really disappointed the supposed season 2 of The Seven Deadly Sins is just the 4 episode miniseries from last year. While it's great to have it localised, my body was ready for a full blown season !

it starts off ok...but then becomes really stupid. its like someone was playing the first watch dogs and it inspired them to make this film. they should have played watch dogs 2 instead and had fun with it instead of trying to make it ultra serious.

i did like maisie williams in it though
