Neverwinter: Console Version | OT | "Your mother was an orc!"

Took me about 80% through to realise that there are portal stones for Spinward Rise and you can teleport to the islands quickly, rather than run all the way each time!

Or you can die :P That was what I used in Fiery Pit a lot :D.

Edit: In Spinward Rise you get the teleport ability when you have done: Rising with the Wind quest.

Great timing on my 40th birthday this year 26th November which means I've managed to pick one of my presents already with the PS4 Pro, hopefully might manage a better framerate in this game with any luck.

EE done. Craploads of bullshit, big middlefinger to annoying campaign. Took about 4x7h to do that by soloing, ugh. Got my first -15% any item so bought 10 keys cause decided to celebrate that bs is done. Soon to open and get gazillion Augmentation cubes...

3x Companion Augmentation Pack
- 2x Rank 8 Bonding Runestone
- 6 Companion upgrade Tokens
4x Professions Master Pack
- Nothing special
1 x Rider's Strongbox of Enchantments
2x Wanderer's Artifact Weapon Pack
- 2x Greater Mark of Stability

Got nice amount of TBars (totaling now at 142). No cubes, but nothing special outside of 2 R8 Bonding Runestones. Time to feed some refinement stuff to my EE campaign Artifact weapon.

I guess I will make that Bonding Runestone to Rank 9 and check if It will fetch nice amount of AD from AH :P. Browsed 400 Epic runestones, 0 had Buyout option, someone has bought all the BO ones :D

Enjoy the maze engine :p

Heh. I havent started it, not sure if I should :D

Maze Engine was awesome, it does have some long stretches of dailies but only requires you to complete one per day, and they are quick, easy and pretty damn fun. The only campaign i didn't enjoy, and only because it was so dull, was EE. Thankfully we had the much improved version too.

Just got Adorable Pocket Pet. Worth keeping or should I sell it?

They sell for less than 20k, i kept mine just because i can pretend to have my own Boo.

Exchange up at 280, fucking hell lol. We are absolutely screwed for next weeks 2 x AD.

Keep non bind on pickup ones to sell in a few months. Buy one with dice which does bind. Its decent, works well with the lucky coin buff. Both on 10 min timers.

I think I'm just going to alternate between ee and other stuff, I'm just wanting to get to 70 really and see where to go from there, looks like I could have been doing the Harpers stuff earlier but I had no idea what campaigns were when I visited neverdeath, still gives me something to do, I guess the main quest is over now though.

On another note is D'rizzt in the game?

Yeah he's part of the maze engine campaign.

Yes, you'll run into and adventure with him a ton. Other familiar characters too.

EDIT: Way too late, i guess i didn't refresh the thread for awhile, haha.

It looks like this new dungeon is a guaranteed 4 accreditation. Combined with races it's easy to get to 200/400.

got 32 companion tokes in a chest so I can finally upgrade my healer companion to lvl 25,
yay so he doesn't die that soon into a fight ._.

I think at this point i've wasted about 120+K AD by clicking too fast on the professions menu (often trying to queue things up in between combat encounters etc) and i've really had to train myself to slow down and never double tap X.

Yep. I learned a while ago to slow down.

I remember people complaining about it on the Xbox version but they're obviously not going to change anything about it because they'd love for you to waste AD.

I mean, there is a confirmation prompt in place, i feel the fault entirely lies with me.

My issue is I do the correct inputs, like press right, then double tap X, only the press right doesn't work and just the double tap X. Feels like it designed to F you over.

After blowing 80k or so I now arrange my professions so the longer taking ones are furthest and the shorter ones closest.

Anyone know what the drop rate for coalesecent wards is from the celestial chests you can get? And if the chance is the same for each chest?

I need a ward for a 1% upgrade and I'm a bit skint to buy one. Hoping I get one out of a chest eventually.

2.87% in Coffer of Celestial Enchantments on PC. Can't see the other chests.

Over 60% of the time you'll get Minor Thaumaturgic Stone.

I got a 15% discount off any companion coupon three days after I bought my black dragon stone at full price. :(

Anyways...

How much are Major Critical Strike Armor Kits selling for on PS4?

Since those don't require any degree of luck in making (like the exquisite gemmed clothes), maybe that's a good source of revenue for a leatherworker?

Roll an alt and save all the invoke bags, when you got the Zen to buy someting, open them and get all the discounts.

BTW anyone got a list of what Elemental Evil quests are optional? The kill counts and Heroics obviously are, but you may as well do them passively while doing the actual quests anyway.

This happens when you learn dungeon mechanics & get your character decent dps machine. Sadly its only Kessels Retreat...

I think my 3rd character is going to be a healer because you don't really see them much. At least I dont anyway. People want to be rambo and take everything out. I'm already finishing a lot of dungeons as the top healer with my CW's random hits of Chaotic Growth, so I may as well just go all in next time and be a full time healer.

I cannot get over how OP Paladin is compared to Trickster Rogue.

Like I cannot see at all where the devs think they two are balanced. TR has a really tough time soloing and all its DPS is focused onto 1 target at a time for the most part, facing too many enemies and I need dodge a lot and guzzle potions, and even against big single target bosses my DPS drops a lot do to still needing dodge attacks.

Meanwhile Paladin runs around with infinite temp HP, the real HP nevers get touched by an enemy, and because it can take such a beating I get to just go nonstop damage, plus got numerous good area attack powers, so between the dodging and needing take out a lot of targets one at a time the TR ends up taking longer as a whole to kill masses of enemies than the Paladin does. I can just train through dungeons and when I cannot go any further while still in battle I stop and kill like 25 mobs that are all surrounding me.

...and I'm not even a healer paladin, I'm a tank, solo, with no healer.

Never played an MMO where a tank been so self sufficient in keeping itself alive.

Are you still levelling? As prior to 70 there is really no point in comparing classes.

Yeah I remember playing a Paladin when they first came out and that shield they develop for every hit was super OP in PvE. It basically gave you double HP.

Finally scraped my fist Lostmouth kill. Bring stuck with a tank just over 2000 and a healer at 1700 didn't help much. Dungeons claiming 1600 min... lol.

A control wizard at just over 2800 topped the DPS chart. He/she done really well but it goes to show how gear dependent the game is. I'm just over 2500.

I'm just under 2.1k and stay out of certain dungeons despite being eligible because I know I'm not ready. That 1600 needs to be raised.

As a Rogue, what should I be aiming to get in terms of high-points gear? Given the grind that can be involved, I don't want to get say Drowcraft Boots and find out I should have gone for something else.

If it helps, I'm focusing on Crit Strike and Life Steal, with side forays into Power and Deflection.

I'm a rogue. You need Armour penetration at least 60% - 65% or so before any other stat.

1. Armour Penetration
2. Critical Strike
3. Power
4. Life Steal

I got the dusk boots pack from the 20 pack key I'm not sure if thats drowcraft or not.

I wear the chest piece from the trade bars.

From what I gather online this is the go to build for rogues even though its for mod 7.

You only need 60+% Pen for Tiamat and PVP, 40-50% is fine for everywhere else. Spacing on whether or not Master Demo has 40 or 50% resist.
