wasn't this game announced even before the 360 was released?? And isn't it supposed to be an Xbox Arcade game and you have to purchase each chapter seperately?

No, it's an episodic game. But I think they mean the game plays out in episodes. Wasn't this supposed to hit November?

the game and its gameplay possibilities are looking awesome! watch out, this game is gonna rock you horror world!

I have no idea what's going on in the second picture. He's hitting the floor with a burning park bench? Or is it a chair and he's trying to hit the wall? Regardless of that though, this game has always looked promising. Ever since it was first annouced back in 1987. Shame they had to redesign the character into this semi-mullet guy though.

Is it supposed to be released this year?

The flames look incredible, same with the environment.

We really need more information about this game.

After seeing the demo at Leipzig here today, they talked about how fire is a unique part of the game. The fire is not scripted, and will spread according to the rules of physic, and if you set fire to a plank of wood, it will spread as far as it can go, and turn other flameable objects on fire.

They also redid the main character, gave him a new look, as they felt he needed a more rugged, Splinter Cell Conviction look. But it is still Edward Carnby, and he has magicly appeaered in 2008, in N.Y.C. without knowing why.

Another big thing is the feature of surviving with household tools. Like using ducttape to stick a gas can onto a creatures back, and then blow the gas can and creature to hell, or using your healing spray and lighter as a flamethrower and doing similar stuff with your equipment.

But the lighting is by far the most impressive thing of the game, it is absolutely amazing.

Did they give a timeframe on when it will be released?

This game has been the best looking next gen game on my book since it was first shown. And it keeps on delivering... It's simply amazing.

The producer weren't to clear about it. But she said it would be before March 2008.

i thought it was xbox360 and ps2 (different game from hydrovision) at the end of year - ps3 at the beginning of next year.

Definitely bullshots. There's no way the fire will look even close to that good in-game.

Infogrames is notorious for releasing bullshots for AITD. Remember how incredible AITD4 looked?

haha no - the fire looks exactly like this. for example, you can take the chair and light it (with petrol). the cahir begins to burn, burns hotter, and now even brighter too. you throw the chair away - the fire goes on to the next objekt and begins to burn. the chair ist after the burn-treatment only a thing made of ember.

Well, I sure hope so. I really liked Alone in the Dark 4 though, and the horror genre is kind of lacking this gen. I mean, one of the genres that gains the most from better graphics is horror. Ironically the only horror game I can think of this gen that makes me somewhat excited is Silent Hill: Origins. :P

1.So, its in episodes...okay does that mean I pay $60 for like 1/4th of a game, them more for the rest?

2. Did they change the guys look? in the first screens I believe he had shorter blond hair.

3.How does he hold a flaming chair?

4.Why does the fire not seem in-game(I barely believed KZ2 fire was real aswell)?
