Ok. Do you find the voice talent behind Shepard to be engaging and dramatic? Do you find the combat segments exciting?Vrolokus said:Like quoting your entire comment would have made much difference.

the framerate will be fixed, no doubt, and everything else does look good to me including the gameplay which seems to be fine judging from the video's i've seen, but the va and facial expressions, lol.

Well, ok.Tobor said:Yes, but I liked the combat in Oblivion, so what do I know.

Well, you must enjoy listening to Robot Men, then. Nothing wrong with that, I guess.snoopers said:I do too. The VA sounds standard-OK to me, and the combat looks cool as hell.

But Oblivion was a 1st-person hack'n slash. This is a 3rd person cover shooter w/ squad commands. Not really very similar, imo.
Nozi said:I agree that the facial animation is kind of 'off'. That's the problem when you use a programmatic system to do dialogue.. although with the amount of pre-recorded audio, getting an animator to keyframe the facial animation would take forever.
Otherwise I think it looks fantastic

Strange that you would bring up that game as a point of comparison, because the two aren't even in the same league. The voice acting in HS makes very, very short work of this.snoopers said:I didn't say I "enjoyed" it, just that it sounded pretty standard to me. I'm far more annoyed by really bad VA like the Heavenly Sword demo cut-scene than "robot men" VA.

:lolI see these guys engaged in a firefight, it looks sterile, dull and just outright boring.
