I wish they would set up their single-player campaigns as a sort of practice run for multiplayer. The on foot moments should have you grenading walls to get to the next area, or to take out enemies. Have a segment were you actually pilot the jets, instead of just sitting in the back.. same goes for helicopters. Honestly, I'd rather play a single-player campaign that provides an experience similar to the multiplayer gameplay rather than another Hollywood-ish on-rails single-player campaign.

I've never been that into Battlefield, but if the PS4 version delivers graphics even close to that trailer in the campaign, I'd buy it. That looks like a roller coaster ride I'd take.
Blame me.
I buy shooters primarily for single player. Sure, the stories in the BF series haven't been Oscar-quality, but they are *fun* campaigns to play through.
I usually play MP a few times only and I personally find most shooter multiplayer boring (and to head off the comments - yes I do suck at them.) - it's all about the single player to me. Just personal preference.
I have a feeling the SP will look damn good on PS4. BF3's SP looked a lot better than MP.

No. Not at all. Was just too much of a change... even if it wasn't a direct continuation of the series. ("aside": Bro-shooters, Bro-this, Bro-that... seriously... still? Going to be 2014 soon.)
Think of it in this way. It's almost the equivalent of taking something like say... TimeSplitters and throwing a new catch phrase at the end of the title, "TimeSplitters: Terrorist Suppression" and making a version with super realistic, action movie-esq SP campaign/multiplayer.
BOT: Id venture to guess, that if polled, MUCH more people would vote for a "more maps/weapons/vehicles no-SP BF" than what's currently offered.

1) I liked the trailer. To the people that want more story in their trailer, I think you don't get what a trailer is. I hate trailers that giveaway the story.
2) A lot of people like single player more than multiplayer. I think TitanFall will get less sales than people think because of its lack of single player content. Putting effort into a single player campaign for BF4 is a smart move.

Well PETA are silly
They crop up every now and then to remain relevant and show people how against it they are. But when stuff like GTA V has animal killing (even domesticated dogs) they don't give a shit

To those asking if they were the only ones that liked the campaign of BF3, I have played through it 3 times. I enjoyed it, and no I didn't buy it just for the single player, I have put over 400 hours into the multiplayer as well. I just like me some Battlefield, and this campaign looks even better. Really liked the 17 minute clip they launched the game with, can't wait to play with Omar.
