I don't like how they changed the scene with Cloud and Seph in the reactor. Clound threw his bitch ass across the room into a wall, then they go and change it in Seph jumping into the life stream. Stupid fans.

Seriously, it pretty much destroys the idea of Cloud being a regular guy who stood up to someone he had no business fighting, just so that Sephiroth can look like more of a badass (who apparently planned everything from the start).

Yes, I think FF7's style looks more appealing than Crisis Core's.

The huge difference is that the background in CC is realtime, the background in FFVII is pre-rendered. CC is on par with PS2 games IMO.

Comparison to the original:

3 person has it. Genesis and Sephiroth(doens't look like he has it in this game though...) has a black one, and Angeal with a white one. It's probably from some SHINRA experiment with SOLDIERS. Angeal referred to himself as a monster because of it, i think...

FF character modellers are awesome... and yet not. The characters' facial features are all too similar, their chins pointy and the way they move their mouth when they speak. Having FFXII, KHII, DoC and CC characters look so similar feels a bit... weird.

As much as I am anticipating this release, this is just absurd. They really are screwing up the "canon" storyline by adding way too much crap.

If anything they should have just used the engine for a PSP remake of FF7 with added voice acting.

Eh, I think making the game as over the top ridiculous MGS TTS style as possible is probably a good thing.

FF7's story wasn't that great in the first place, and with AC and to a degree DC, FF7 has become know as the super action rpg world.
