F*ck'em. We want moar.FartOfWar said:The clip in the 1UP Show is wonk since the rest of the gang was justifiably punking me the entire time I tried to play, but to be fair I had been playing for extended stretches earlier that day. I felt all proud when one of the devs told me to play as long as I'd like cos it was showing the game off and attracting a crowd...until Bryan stepped in with DOOD, YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO DO GAME DEMOS AT TRADESHOWS! And I felt like a retard who wanted to be the kid from The Wizard.

What was the default key lay out? WASD, QE(lean) Space(jump,) Tab(use?) Shit(sprint?,) Ctrl(crouch?,) Alt(?) etc...
I'm asking just to get an idea for what the main action are and figure out how easy it will be to hot-key all the special suit shit.
FartOfWar said:Yep, more or less standard. F is enter/exist vehicle. The number keys swap vehicle seats/guns. F1 is camera perspective when in vehicles. Shift + space is super jump when suit strength is active, and I assume you know how suit parameter switching works with mouse3/scroll wheel. Although I didn't want to **** with the settings too much on the show floor, they assured me that we can bind specific suit abilities to any key we want.
I'm thinking I'll bind grenade (normally G) to mouse 4 and then prone to 5, depending upon how useful going prone is. Alternately, I'll try speed on 4 and strength on 5, as I love combo-ing the two.

I've also read reports of the E3 demo machines being E6600/2GB/GF8800GTX.woundingchaney said:Did an interview with one of the producers concerning the title while at E3. Absolutely the most impressive game displayed period. They had the title running extremely smooth on a e6300, 2 gig ram, 8600 @ 1280x960 using what looked to be a 20" Dell. Everything was well defined from lush vegetation, character models, to animations and explosions.
-inside scoop looking like a delay (unless of course this has already been mentioned as I have been too busy to follow the media as of late)

FartOfWar said:I'm pretty positive it used an 8800 GTX as that's the point of entry for the private beta test.
Mrbob said:Did you hear any info on jesus crysis being delayed a couple months? I'm still surprised the game is set for a Sept release, and I'm going to build a new PC around Crysis so I want to get the main components as close as possible.

Sure you can.RavenFox said:Does anyone know if you can go prone in the game?
