New Dark Souls 2 Screenshots

Those are probably console screenshots I'd guess, 720p with post-AA.
I'm looking forward to playing a new Dark Souls from the start with Shadowplay. So many aggravating deaths to record

Texture-wise could be an upressed PS2 game on some of those screens, but I ain't complaining since the same could be easily said about Dark Souls 1 and that's my game of the generation
And with nextgen footage of other games showing up everyday, this game is not gonna look prettier as we aproach march.
But like you said, Dark Souls is not about graphics.

Possibly my most hyped 2014 game.
Managed to get the PC collectors edition on preorder at amazon for £64 before they corrected the price to £84.99. Hope the PC version has learned from DSfix and alows us to change the res and has AO and all those lovely DSfis things.
Watching Giant Bombs Load Our Last Souls really makes me want new DS to feel the same sense of discovery I felt the first time through DS and that Vinny is feeling playing the later parts of the game and the DLC.

Those screenshots are small and compressed to hell and back, of course the screenshots don't look that good - the beta looked fantastic on my PS3, the lighting is a real gamechanger in terms of visuals and the textures look slightly better than Dark Souls
And Lightning Returns still looks like shit
Out of all the screenshots, this one is by far the laziest ugliest shot of the bunch.
Boring castle wall, with a moon and a dude, no additional props and objects, just boringness. Also this shot has so many visible texture seams, it made my eyes bleed

You'd figure with a PC version a XB1/PS4 version would be not too hard?
What happens to online when MS stops supporting the 360 in three years?
Seriously, everyone needs to just get the pc version. If you really want to feel like you're next genin' it, use the DS4 while you play.

My god that is some sexy box art... I know it's generic, I don't care, that is beautiful.
Another reason I'm jealous of PC fans, [assuming we get the same art even] their box art isn't crowded with half a dozen labels.

Ugh, come on dude. Everything we seen so far since beta has pointed STONGLY at sequel... set in the DISTANT future... like hundreds of years. Just cuz one bridge has a doorway at the end of it like the MLB boss fight bridge doesn't mean shite.

PS3/360 isn't immune per se but its not as prevalent.
