Prompto is a good concept but he is wayy too annoyingly over the top, whether it's the voice acting or just his writing.
It's a combination of that and seeing this young adult emoting like a 4 year old.Prompto is a good concept but he is wayy too annoyingly over the top, whether it's the voice acting or just his writing.

LOL I meant SNES. Can't you guess that it was a mistake ? You should use your common sense more.FFV on the NES.What the hell are you talking about?

LOL@ FFVII being dead easy. It's one of the easier titles but you can still get bodied in random encounters if you don't know anything.

vvvvvvvvvvvv it really is easy
Also he wasn't part of team #Believe
I see what they're going for but it's like, everything I hate about that anime archetype into one character.Ignis though wouldn't be able to put Prompto in his place if it wasn't for the fact that he acts like hes 12.....I love the interactions they have lol.
FINAL FANTASY XV ‏@FFXVEN 1h1 hour ago
FFXV is action based, open world and immersed in reality! Hajime Tabata answers that FFXV will include cactuar!
Looks like Cactuars are in.
I don't know where I read it, but I remember recently seeing that Cactuars weren't in, at least yet. So either they added them in that time frame or I read something unreliable or misinterpreted something or am remembering something wrong or pretty much any other variable you can think of.
So basically, "trippin"
Dualshockers (banned site so I can't link it here) may have worked out the rough actual size of FFXV's world map.
The perspective fucks with things but mostly averages out. It'll be nuts if this is correct.
EDIT: Note that the Witcher 3 image is just the main continent, I don't believe it includes Skellige.

No way in hell it'll be all explorable.
And if it is, i could actually start understanding those who thinks it'll be mostly empty of things to doalthough i wouldn't mind
But i guess when you factor in all the various means of transportation (Car, chocobo, boat, airship), it should become much more easy to traverse.
Oh, no doubt - I'll bet the vast majority of those mountain ranges, for example, can't be explored and at most have roads you can drive through. Much of it is probably just there to look good from the airship. Still impressive.
I think their perspective is mucked up there, it's a square board but they measure one side to be almost three times as large as the other?
Realistically it'll likely be the size of the smallest side - 20km x 20km for 400km^2 total area, same as Just Cause 2. Still incredibly impressive, I mean, there's two cities there that are the size of the city in GTAV.
Now, we face a problem: perspective deforms the map, but we’re lucky. Our peninsulas are close to the center, so the margin of error pretty much averages out. We could deform the map back to a flat plane, but this risks to introduce enormous margins of error, so it’s better to just consider the effect of the perspective at the top cancelling out the effect at the bottom. It’s not perfect, but it works.

Where did this come from? We haven't seen anything of Niflheim yet have we?
That's an extremely old picture of the Versus XIII development board. It may be completely obsolete as war as we know.
Ah ok. It actually looks kind of like Agni's Philosophy's city. :O
Incredible if true,
Episode duscae was said to be 10% ( IMO) i'ts a small area
H.Tabata said The whole map would be about 10 times that of EP duscae.
Where in that map is duscae region?
And can we re-do the math again considering that info HT gave us?

Here's the full one, btw:
That's just your opinion. I think it'll be extremely fun driving through the kind of environments we've seen so far. They aren't dull. The coastal area looks pretty.Duscae is 10% of the world map. The demo was just a part of Duscae, so we don't actually know how much is "10%" of the map.
I hope dualshockers is completely off-base with that comparison though. That'd be horrible and probably turn me off from doing any side activities at all...
I also don't see how it's any impressive when everything is as dull as it can be. I'm pretty sure any developer can make something that big when you fill it up with nothing...
The game is still a year or more away...Did Kagari ever said anything about SQ bringing FFXV to other platforms like( NX,PC ?)
Are there any plans of it? I think this game could use some PC help to fix AA problems and AF

Again, empty space is not necessarily a problem so long as they manage to signal points of interest in the world well. I think a world that doesn't have crap every 5 feet is far better than something like The Witcher 3 where you can't turn around without bumping into another treasure, enemy camp, village or monster nest.
It'll make the game's world more believable if Lucis and Niflheim aren't a 10 minute drive away from each other.
Ooh right, that's Altissia! There are some interesting pictures/artworks there. You can obviously see Altissia to the right. There also seems to be some interesting monster design at the bottom(strange looking), and next to it, a cool looking train(perhaps the one where Noctis encounters the indoor blizzard). Over that one, there seems to be a heavy industrial area/town that looks sorta out of FFVII(or even Vector-like from FFVI). I think it's interesting that there seems to be some sky "light show" happening(natural phenomenon?) over it.

It won't line up unless you add a considerable amount of land. I'm thinking it's going to be similar to FFXII, not the full world scope, just a region/continent(s) of the world.I really hope in the final game the map is a complete sphere.
This seems so so so incredibly wrong.
I really hope in the final game the map is a complete sphere.
True, I'm just hoping there is something that we haven't seen yet that would make it line up correctly. It won't line up unless you add a considerable amount of land. I'm thinking it's going to be similar to FFXII, not the full world scope, just a region/continent(s) of the world.
