From what I know it is, but it's not as in-depth as XII's gambits.

Maybe, as someone who's studied programming I can say that the gambit system is a nice way of understanding the condition system (if, then, etc).

This has got to be one of the worst surveys I've ever seen. It breaks almost every single usability heuristic -- it's impressive!
Overlapping intervals, questions that are mandatory when they shouldn't be, making the user remember what games they played instead of providing a list, an ambiguous 1-6 rating scale that doesn't tell you what's best or worst...

Agreed totally. Just what I did as well (I especially highlighted more Ivalice games and also asked for a new Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story game both with involvement from Matsuno).
*sigh* They never made anything like it since. It's time to let Ito out of the closet and get crackin', Square. Bring back the Gambit system too, whilst they're at it.

Some of the required questions don't really make sense but I answered anyway just so I could tell them that that I wanted a Vita version! Seriously, I can't wait for this remake, I've spent at least 600 hours playing the original game and I'm going to get everyone of those sweet trophies.

"Please give us the ability to reverse the horizontal and vertical controls of the camera stick. XII, to this day, feels unintuitive to control because of this honestly baffling omission. It's my favorite Final Fantasy game, or at least in my Top 3, but I've never managed to sink into a replay of it due the constant aggravation of the camera controls."

Nah, he worked on Tactics Ogre remake after FF12.

It would be great if this "Zodiac" Edition comes with a remastered of Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lion, with a Day One PC release too...but it's SE, it won't happen. Anyway I hated FFXII per se.
Sad to say, but I agree with you. XII was such a snoozefest, and I found FFXIII the hella boring. But XII was worse, because it had Vaan.
