xavean1 said:I hope they've stablized the frame rate -- and above 20 FPS. Because while the game is pretty, the speed of the E3 trailer was atrocious. Game characters need better facial animation too, but that's nitpicking.

Sony bought Microsoft.
Any1 said:Oooh, maybe you should email Cliffy your concerns about the framerate cause i'm sure they have every intention of leaving it at 20 unless you act quickly and remind them that 20 is a little too slow.
terrene said:Guys, there is NO WAY.
The playable game will still probably look pretty good, but that level of detail, lighting, and shit-going-on-at-once is out of the question.

I believe it's really possible, but the comparison with ninja gaiden is completely out of place. NG is just lots of polygons and textures but nothing really complex, unlike this.Lunar Aura said:imo if ninja gaiden was possible on xbox then this is definately possible on 360. i know they are 2 totally different games but the effects/gfx style looks eerily similar but on a bigger scale ofcourse.

I don't think so.
Slapping 'teh shiny' shader on every piece of geometry might have been impressive a few years ago, not anymore.
Wake me up when the game has more than one material...
You're so right. We'll just have to wait for the Revolution until we get the real next gen. This game might as well be the same as NinjaBread Man.TheInkyVoid said:Next gen?

Yeah, 5000-10000 polygons I guess. If you take a close look at some of the other older pics, these models are pretty low in poly count.
Which is the complete opposite from NG.You could effectively say that this game is "just lots of fancy multitexturing and bloom effects" and you'd be pretty much right.
Good lord, that troll was weaker than a handjob from a 10 year old girl.TheInkyVoid said:Next gen?

Good work for a few renders from a 4 month old press kit.

Not that GoW DOESN'T look incredible, but it was the animation and chaos that blew everyone away...AndreasNystrom said:So, the video of Killzone 2, everyone said "CG CG CG!"... then this which looks better is a "stunning 360 game" ?
looks nice.
