I don't know how well Golden Axe will translate into 3D, and judging by these screenshots, nor do Sega, I honestly can't make out what the hell is supposed to be going on with this game, it looks messy, some bits are passable, the character models range from rubbish to pretty decent, and the locales are like PC from 2002 spec in terms of evil jaggy mess of blurry textures.

Sega, don't do it, kill this project before you ruin another franchise held dearly by us retro lovers. (Yes, Every game after Golden Axe already done that, but hey, shh)

I must agree with this post.

The chick in this game looks like a whore with huge tities. Thats why i like Nariko who seems very real and her stuff aint too artificial. Also textures on the baddies look like crap. Only the main character looks decent.

I've counted the pixels, Nariko is actually showing more skin than Tyris.

i don't understand this shit. Its not like Golden Axe is such a huge name that it is going to draw tons of people to the title. The only people that really remember Golden Axe anymore is hardcore gamers, and they're the ones that will be first to dismiss it because it looks nothing like golden axe. Then again, Sega makes dumb decision, why am i suprised?

Same. I think the art style is really good actually. The graphics technically aren't the best, but I prefer a good art style over special effects any day.

The main problem for me is I've never liked a Golden Axe game so I doubt I'm going to go near this regardless. Unless it's on 360 with 4 player co-op. I'll buy anything with 4 player in there.
