The person said that this was the sort of thing they were focussing on moving forward - legit group "play" rater than competition.
I think the example was the VIP thing yeah. I dont think they revealed anything they weren't allowed to.

After 3 years still around top 10 with twitch streams. Usually included in top 10 digital sales on consoles each month. 500 MILLION dollars in revenue from ridiculous people buying shark cards. They are still adding more content updates and will continue to do so throughout 2016. Tons of people still playing the game to this day.

Hey prick, I didn't say a single thing about the games popularity, I said: if you have a lesser internet connection, don't bother because it's a goddamn trainwreck.
I'm actually a big fan of GTAO when it works, but every single time all my friends get together for a session, at least ONE of us will have connection problems, and this has persisted for 3 years, so I'm allowed to describe my experiences as a trainwreck.

I've been really wanting to put this back in my game rotation. This really puts it over the top. GTAO is the game I always wish I had more time for. Looks like I need to make that happen.

I avoid most stunt races like the plague because they're awful, if I see one pop up in the quick race option I get out as fast as I can. There's very few that I've been in that I'd consider "good".

Anytime your want to play man just send me a pm. Looks crazy and I hoping the race suits are form fitting for female characters. I can make cash easy now with VIP and stuff so it's not a concern. Just need to put work in. I finished off Far Cry 4 for the last 2 weeks and finishing Saints Row 4 on PS4 so I'll be getting back into GTA Online tomorrow and this weekend for some money making.

If they're talking about what I think they're talking about it's that the host disconnects right before the heist ends, people still get money and the host keeps his heist so they don't have to go through the whole set up again.

GTA:O is nothing like it was at launch. It is perfectly smooth and stable on my sessions, and we play in a crew of 8 or more for hours and hours at a time. Our longest session was 18hrs straight. Freeroam, activities and heists.
By your own admission, if you have a problem then it is your shitty connection.

How big is the PC version nowadays? Is it close to 100GB already after all the content updates?

So none of the props are in the creator.... what a missed opportunity.
Entered a Stunt Premium Race. Entry Fee is 20.000$ and Payout was 100.000$. I was in 1st place the whole time and then halfway through Lap 3, some idiot rams me and flips me over. This is why I don't play races anymore. People have to be unsporting in order to win.

Long downtimes between matches/gamemodes, often crazy hackers, just a long way to gain anything overall.
Feels like a grind, and most of the rewards you can buy are kinda questionable
But the basegame, the basemechanics are pure fun. A shame the economics and the matchmaking are messed up like that

Have they changed GTA Online to make it easier/faster to play, or do you still have to jump through tons of bullshit hoops to actually get to it? I tried it on the PS3 and just getting into it was such convoluted nonsense. Tempted to pick up the game on PS4 as well.
Nearly 3 years later and they still haven't fixed this. Insane.

Man 10.1 million for all the new vehicles. Thats like what £80-90 worth? It's such a drag to earn cash in this game. I had like 15 million a few weeks ago and now left with 12k.

Seems a lot better in my expereince on the new consoles rather the last gen. I don't have any problems getting into lobbies or matches. At the start up loading screen just choose Online and you'll be in. Loading times can sometimes be slow but once your in then it should be fine.

The lobby system is still an horrible POS, if that's your question.
The way around it for me is to just set up a party (even if no one is in it). That way I'm not subjected to the amount of bullshit noise randoms tend to make.
Eating pants: First few races I joined nearly topped 16 players. Welp.

Finally, a DLC that's genuinely fun. The races are great, apart from the camera fucking up during the giant 360 loops.

Is the driving still terrible though? I could never do any of the car races online because the controls just didn't feel tight enough for them. A lot of bullshit physics and floaty-ness.

There was a recent ban wave. So I'm sure they are slowly figuring out new ways to mod. But for the most part things are okay.
Maybe you were just driving some bad cars? The super and sport class cars handle really well.
