I'm in.

I hope the camerawork is better in this one than the first. The cinematography really sucked and made me ill at a few points because they wouldn't hold the damn thing steady.

Well, it's good to know that the females in this story aren't solely dependent on males for warmth.

I don't like Jennifer Lawrence, though. She's very fit, but something about her face makes me think she's going to burst forth from her shell the way Tetsuo did in Akira.

I don't know why I'm finding this picture so fucking hilarious. Why the fuck is the Vampire sitting there watching shirtless dude snuggle up with his girlfriend?

She was going to freeze to death and vampires don't generate body heat, so wolfboy was on deck. Twilight is just delightfully stupid.

I've never read The Hunger Games, and this poster doesn't look encouraging. Is it in the same vein as Twilight?

I actually found the first two to be pretty solid for young adult fiction. If you don't have too high of expectations they have some good characters and worldbuilding. Didn't like the third though, as some others have mentioned.

These posters are perfect for in-universe images. They're stiff and board, the whole thing looks shallow, crass and lame-- which is all the point. I think people are missing the point.

He's actually not that short, it's just that everyone around him is tall.

Chris Hemsworth is 6'4", Lawrence is 5'9", Swift is 5'11", and Hutcherson is 5'7".

I thought the first movie was pretty decent. Like a pg-13 version of Battle Royale. Thought that one dude's beard was nifty. Upkeep on that thing must have been a pain in the ass.

It's like if Battle Royale had no interesting characters or plot lines and the main character survived almost entirely by chance. That's a sweet looking poster though.

I was wondering something last night. In the teaser trailer for the Hunger Games, they end with the Mockingjay call, and there was a crowd reaction to it, like people recognized it. Could anyone tell me how the noise was described in the book? Just a four-note whistle, or what?

Very cleverly done. After reading an alternate take on Catching Fire's plot though, I don't have a huge desire to go see this. The books were some of the better teen fiction I've read, and they actually had some balls in ending it
in a not totally happily ever after way

Yeah, it's just a 4-note whistle that Rue uses to communicate with Katniss that she is okay (if I remember correctly).
